@seekjustice Ah, too bad. 🙁 While there are restrictions on what types of fireworks private citizens can use, they’re shot off all the time at public places such as sports games and carnivals and parks.
As you can see, I’m back now. 😀 I’m going to try to get back into the rush I was in this afternoon with my writing. I wrote way more than usual. Still not a lot compared to you, but plenty for me. 😛

@valtmy Hello! Unfortunately, my body just decided it’s more tired than I thought it would be and I’m starting to fall asleep. I’ll try to stay awake for a little while longer, but I won’t be up as late as usual, that’s for sure! 😛

@valtmy Yes, when I posted it was only 10:00 for her, so I thought she might be here for another half hour or so, but I guess not. 🙂 She does sometimes stay up later, and since I didn’t get to talk to her last night I thought I’d take the chance.

Haha thanks. But since I knew it was a Les Mis retelling I was pretty much expecting it. I suppose that dulled the impact for me.
That and the fact that I was either squealing or giggling whenever I spotted a Les Mis reference. Which, um, isn’t really the intended reaction for certain scenes…? 😳

I do like your story though! 😛 I think it is a good retelling. There are clear parallels to Les Mis but has enough originality to it.
