For lack of a better description, yes, my WIP is a romance parody.
@valtmy *chuckles nervously* um, yeah. She actually hasn’t been up to much. That’s the problem. 😛 But I’ll work on it. 😀
Okay, that’s what I thought. Now, follow up question: What’s your definition of parody? Not the dictionary definition, but what do you think when you hear the word “parody?”

I would say that a parody is a work that pokes fun at another work or a certain genre of works. For example, so far in my WIP every single one of the drama performances is based on a real life show. 😛
Maybe I should stop calling it a romance parody but a things-I-have-watched parody.

Um, it’s going…better? I think? 😛 Still slow, but I am back in the storyline. I mean, I’ve gotten my head back into the story, where it was out since I’d been not writing for a while. So that’s good.

I’ve only got an hour and a half so far (I tried to lower my goal but it wouldn’t let me for some reason???) but hopefully I’ll get some time tonight after I’ve done school, editing and first aid.
My editing is going slower than is normal, but I think I’m dragging my heels because I have less than 10k before I get to Sapphire’s death. And that made me emotional enough the first time. I don’t know if it’ll be better or worse this time.

Until a certain point you can change your goals…I think the cut off date is the 19th or something. But I think the website was just glitching, because websites do that occasionally 😛
I’m hoping to write one tomorrow 😀 For now, its buckling into the editing…remember though how you pointed out that Chessy and Justice were “unequally yoked”? That’s the conversation I’m trying to put in now without making it too preachy 😐

I was just reading over the Stars Fill Infinity thread and I found my first mention of the sequel I was planning and I said that only one main character died. And you said:
