I’ve got here a short story which is actually an excerpt from the novel which most of you have already read. I’m planning to enter it into a competition and I’d love if you guys would read it over and tear it apart if you have to.
I’d also love to know if you think it makes sense as a standalone piece 🙂

@seekjustice Like I commented on the doc, I love it!! It works perfectly as a stand-alone piece, and I think everyone who reads it will love it too.

I’m amazed at how often you say you hate romance when you write it so well! 😉 I guess you just mean you hate badly-written and too complicated romance?

Well, I guess for me, writing romance is no different to writing a psychopath like Theresa Caelan. It just requires a lot of imagination. And while I don’t really like reading romance, I may have a soft spot for writing it. Particularly Sapphire and Quillon. They warm my cold, hard heart 😉

@seekjustice I just realized that the link you gave Rochellaine was the second draft of your first Stars. I’d hate to back out on this, but do you mind if I wait on reading until it’s done (that is, if you were wanting us to read the second draft)? I have two other alpha readings that I’m doing, plus trying to get my website up + life stuffs, and I don’t want you to be waiting for me or expecting me to read it soon. Is that okay? (Trust me, I REALLY want to read it!)
