      Totally! Character psycology can be so meaningful and also fun. (For example Wit/Hoid, he is awesome in his craziness/actually knowing everything)

        Definitely agree!
        Wit/Hoid is probably one of my current favourites just because he is so intriguing.
        I feel that Shallan is also a great example (especially in B2).

        I also feel like it is really fun to write characters with their psycology in mind because then you can give them a somewhat unique voice which is really important for multi narrative. It is also useful for making good antagonists because it helps them not just feel like a faceless evil.

          malos it is possible to anti-trope so much that your anti-troping falls into the same pitfalls of misused tropes

              @princesachronicle22

              I’m so sorry this reply is late!

              Spensa/M-bot/Doomslug from Skyward (I’m counting those three as one because I can’t choose any one from that book). Nova Artino, from Renegades. Jatin from Cast In Firelight

              Cool! I haven’t read any of those books.

              Favorite language? I’m currently learning Spainish and I really like it.

              I’m learning Spanish as well. It’s a beautiful language! (And easier than Scottish Gaelic, which I’m also learning!)

              Lovely username by the way. I love how Arien sounds. Mind if I name a character after you?

              Thanks! I actually borrowed the name from J. R. R. Tolkien’s The Silmarillion. Arien is the Maia who lives in the sun, and I just really liked the name!

              My name PrincesaChronicle basically means book princess. Princesa is the spainish word for princess and I just love how Chronicle sounds. (:

              Ok, cool!
