Huh, that’s an interesting point. Especially since, in a way, it’s true; there really isn’t such a thing as real innocence—we are fallen, wicked creatures, and honestly, just because we might be innocent in one respect does not make us innocent as a whole. You can “innocently” murder someone, not knowing it’s wrong, but that person is still dead. So perhaps Villain is just throwing the baby out with the bathwater—which would be even cooler if he’d actually been in such a situation, as either the victim or the innocent, and its led him to a warped view of innocence, justice, and all that stuff.

Hmm. This could definitely make for some interesting thematic points. The Villain sees that there is no such thing as real innocence, and because everyone’s fallen… well, there isn’t, in a purely natural state. So in a way, he’s correct, and in one way or another no one deserves vindication… which means he can justly, punish everyone in whatever way he likes… and still hold onto to the idea that he himself is just! Thus meaning that… well, that this needs to be fleshed out as a story idea, by someone who can do it justice XD
