Y’all, I have had a happy realization. Two old/side projects of mine fit so we’ll together I might mash them into something new. XD Kingdom of Shadows is a sort of allegory seasoned with not-magic while Areth is a little more ancient and more folk lore esq than medieval fantasy. I’ve wanted to work on something along these veins, to try a smaller work while I don’t have time to invest in my MG epic. This will be fun to pursue, even if I end up dropping the idea.
Theme music, since the whole idea was inspired by listening to music: Far Kingdom, Shadows of the Dawn, and Pale Moonlight by Gray Havens, Void by Indiana Bible College, and Control by Dylan Woodward. Instrumentals would be Breath of Life from the LotR soundtrack, and Scarborough Fair by Taryn Harbridge.
Would anyone want to read spippets if I write it? Asking because I don’t write consistently, and even though I would have to go slow, I’d like to have some accountability. It’s kept Portals alive, so I know sharing bits is good incentive to myself to keep it up. It’ll just be short stories for a while as I figure out world building.

Awesome. XD It won’t be much for a while. I’m trying to straighten out the worldbuilding at the moment, so just funsies.
I’ve had fairytale type stuff rattling in my imagination for several months, but none of it has been stories I would want to write really. This idea is a welcome relief, not being cursed from its birth. XD

So remember that crazy MI project? Well I succeed, and I posted an announcement to that effect, and KP ate it. I am now just finding out that most of y’all never knew that I got those books published!

The UN-damaged copies and the damaged ones (which are going for a steal) are back for a limited time, and they are already selling fast and I’m low on stock again. So, anyhow, if anyone is interested in buying a copy, they’re back.
