Oh if Jr wants a pastime, Hugo will be in PE some time and they can spar a little. Mine didnāt tell yours, but he also dabbles in knife work, self defense, etc. but only as much as he needs.

Question, on a scale of one to 25, (1 being basic fighting skills, enough to fight the average ignorant person, and 25 being won an international championship/ is an elite soldier) how skilled is Hugo?

It depends on if its offensive or defensive, and who he’s “fighting.” If it’s offensive, maybe a 10. Defensive is 15+, since he dodges bullets in his own universe.
A lot of my character fall somewhere on the trickster hero archetype scale. So even if he doesn’t have as much raw power, he can find a way to avoid a simple power play altogether.
Obviously motivation is an important factor in any fight tho. Like if character B is less powerful than A, but has a heck lot more motive, I’d put my money on B.
And Hugo would have a little motive since Jr reminds him of a couple personal problems.
Lol, combat comparisons are fun XD I remember trying to loosely calculate duals between all main protagonists, but ultimately left it be.

Oscar was used to stares. He met Chaseās gaze as he took a sip from the mug he had forgotten to give to the other boy. Chase had weird eyes. White irises, reminding Oz of his own blind left eye. He smiled at the slight similarity.

Hmm…Alpha is at the 20-22 mark in combat. I mean, he was literally created to fight, and get him motivated past the usual amount of “It’s a fight!” And you’re dead. In a spar, he tones it down…so things should be fine…

Chase breathed a sigh, relaxing his muscles. His eyes turned more pale grey.

šš¤£ He has to! He might be a pacifist but a gang raised him (kinda like a village raising a child) so dodging bullets is part of the family expectations. Same thing for Sebbie boi except on a whole other level of mania.

I think they would be sufficiently challenging for each other. Hugoās normal attackers are very much built like Alpha, plus ammo and a fair shot of insanity. Itās kind of like being a manager at a fast food joint, and being used to language most people would get upset about – my boy has seen the same Karens on a weekly basis and has learned to either calm them down or tune out.
*Me realizing I never clearly state my charriesā background* Eh, does anyone really care outside of when reading the actual story? XD

I’m honestly really worried about this spar. I don’t want to downplay your character, but at the same, don’t want to do injustice to mine.
…and I’m also really bad at fight scenes…

We don’t have to spar if you don’t feel like it š Although since we’re both uncertain who wins, they could call a draw at the end instead of declaring a winner. Obviously anyone would want their own protagonist to win, but a draw is nicest in an RP setting.
