“Or we could just not tell him.” Liv smirked. “Then he can’t make fun of us.”
Lukas chuckled. His arms still tingled from where Liv had wrapped her arms around him in a hug. “Wait,” he said, spotting Fynn walking out of the store with a hopeful look on his face. “I want to get him back. Just play along.” He gave Liv a smirk.
Fynn put his arm around Lukas’s shoulders as they started through the mall again. “So,” he said, his voice low. “Did you ask her?”
“Yeah.” Lukas gave a nod, his face empty of any emotion.
“Well…” Fynn gave him an expectant look. “What’d she say?”
Lukas sighed and shoved his hands into his pockets. “I don’t wanna talk about it,” he mumbled.
Fynn blinked, drawing his arm back. “Wait what?”
“Nothing.” Lukas shrugged with one shoulder.
Liv cast a glance over her shoulder and Lukas shot her a wink.
Fynn sidled up next to her. “So, are you planning to go to the dance? Because I know this guy…”

Her brown had been fashioned into a braid and she quickly brushed it behind her back, facing the group with a smile.
“We should get going if we want to dress shop without a crowd,” Lena stated with a glance at Eleanor, she then turned to everyone else in the group. “We could all get together if you guys want,”
“I assume you guys are going together?” Eleanor asked, looking at Riker and Iris, who didn’t look related and they appeared quite close, she wondered if it was easy for people to guess that she and Marek were together. probably not right now since Marek’s eyes were only on Tirion, no doubt deciding if he was right for his sister.

Jade stood in awe looking at the giant mall, it was quite large and had very pretty and modern architecture. she looked at Michael, who was right by her side.
“I think blue would be a good color,” Jade stated.
“I’m not matching with you,” Michael said with a frown, he then turned to the rest of the group. “So…Â are we all going together or are the guys and girls going to split up?”

“I’ve never seen someone do that before.” Chase lapsed into silence, his eyes occasionally darting to the table with four other people.

Chase was only half listening; he also watched the group of boys nearby.
Marcel stifled what he had been about to say. “Do you want to sit with them?”

“I… I… ” He pulled his hood over his eyes. “Do you know them?”

“I know one of them. The tiny blond one, on the inside.” Marcel lifted his chin, trying to get a better look. “He… wow.”
Sebastian didn’t look too happy. Without the kooky enthusiasm he had shown at the cafeteria yesterday, he hunched over his ice cream with soulless, shifting eyes.
“What – What about the others?” Chase asked.
“I don’t know them.”

“You can go over if you want. I’ll probably…” He shrugged slightly. “Stay here?”

For some reason, Marcel felt a little hurt.
Yes, Chase was a sunless introvert. He didn’t mean anything by it – but then, had he really found anything valuable in their little conversation?
…Not that it was actually valuable.
Probably wasn’t.
So Marcel did the only thing he knew how. He shrugged and stared out the window. His feathers began to retreat back into his hood.
“Everything is a mountain”

They had stepped into the shop.
Chloe smiled as Eddie pulled Ellie towards the extra small section. Chloe wondered if they’d have any trouble finding dresses small enough.
The shop was not large compared to some of the other gigantic shops.
Chloe walked close too Eddie and Ellie, looking at some of the nearby dresses. Every once in a while, Chloe would pull a dress from the rack, and decide if she liked it. Chloe had never had experience having friends, since she’d lives in the north pole all her life. Where she’d rarely seen anyone other than family and the very few neighbors.
“So, you want to wear blue again? What about this one? No, you don’t like sequins. Ooo, look this one has roses!”
Ellie stared at the floor.
“Ed… I’m not really up for this.” Ellie said giving a small smile. “Why don’t you just pick it out for me? I think I’m gonna just…”
Chloe was surprised to watch Ellie hug Eddie, and then walk out the door.
Eddie turned to Chloe
“Don’t mind her. She gets like that sometimes. Did you find anything you like?”
Chloe decided not to ask any questions.
Chloe pointed at a few dresses draped on her arm. She couldn’t decide which one. They were each a slightly different shade of purple. Chloe was certain she wanted purple. One dress, a light lavender one, had small flowers on it. Another one had really pretty long sleeves. And the last one was black on the top and faded into lots of different shades of purple.
“Well, maybe one of these. There are so many to choose from. What about you?”

Marcel shrugged and stared out the window, his feathers disappearing into his hood. Chase buried his face in his arms again.
There was a long silence.
“Why do you have wings?” Chase whispered softly.
"You need French Toast."

“The kid finally speaks,” Dante commented jokingly. He looked at Sebastian’s ice cream which was now drooping into a puddle.

Oh I keep forgetting to post this. It’s Felicity in her dress.

Felicity leaned away from Babs and raised an eyebrow.
“Do you have a mind reading spell I don’t know about?”
Babs smiled and took another bite of food. Felicity stared intently at a pigeon that was getting a little too close.
“Yeah,” she continued, “Art is more Lois’ thing, but he convinced me to join.”
She ate another bite and then asked, “What about you?”
