they’re like those characters that are happy and caring when you do what they want but when you do something they don’t like they’re very angry
I saw something that pointed out how Mother Gothel kissed the top of Repunzle’s head where her hair is, but Flynn pushed her hair out of her face so he could kiss her and no her hair
And that made the whole movie even better XD

I’ve watched stuff about her and analysis on toxic parents and things in study for Riven and Lilith (Paxton’s mother), and even Zoltan (though he did love Lyn, he was just…twisted) so I can correctly portray the relationships.
Its so sad how they gaslight these kids…

#ProtectSebI know right!? I think it’s sadder to have an evil pretend to love someone than to have a villain be honest about their goals (if that makes sense)

@smiley yea. It’s rough.
For me sometimes it’s harder to have a “villain” who could have been good…
a villain with a backstory just like the heroes, or a backstory that makes you understand them.
(not justify them or understand what they’ve done, but understand where they came from)
And u can see how, if things were different, the hero could be just like them, or they could have been a hero.
I’m thinking of one of my charries in particular…. 😭
