Nobody seemed to be getting a rope. Kate sighed, reaching for a gemstone at her belt. She crushed it. A glowing red string emerged, expanding. An Arclash. Practically unbreakable, and if it was broken, it would explode. It would, however, eventually dissipate.
Kate caught it in her hand and swung it towards Nahim. It coiled around his sword arm and fused to itself, preventing him from shaking it off.
Ellis glanced at her in shock.

Something red grabbed his sword arm, he couldn’t move it. He stared at Kate who had sent it his way, his eyes almost a glow like lava. He had one free hand, and he could use it. He drew his gun before they could stop him.
