Kate sat sullenly at breakfast. Yesterday had not gone well. She glared down the table at the red-haired woman who had gotten mad at her for just trying to do the stupid job she had been assigned!
You should talk to her! said Bloodsong, cheerfully.
“No,” said Kate.
Come on, don’t be so grumpy. Everyone here looks super nice! You’re the one who’s being a downer.
“I’m not being a downer! I just don’t like her!”
You should talk to her, repeated Bloodsong.

I don’t know. Usually humans like talking, although I notice you don’t. Hmmm… It doesn’t matter, you should do it anyway! Try to be nice!
