Wait, an actual mental condition? How…..
Yeah, that’s what my mom told me. I mean, I thought that those little bits of dust that float around the house and are visible in the sunlight were bees. I would randomly talk to invisible dragons as if they were real. I had this person named Eugene that I would put on this silly hat for and talk like I was him. Worst of all, I’m the second oldest child in our house, and we live with our grandparents, so it wasn’t just a ‘lonely only child’ thing.
Ok, I’ll let you do jungle dragon… *facepalm* We are so, so confused here lol
Whatever works, I’ll make up a post to tell everyone what’s what.

I’m not sure, my mom didn’t tell me. She only said they thought I had lost my mind, and even consulted someone about it, and if I had kept it up, I would actually have had a mental illness or disability.

“Yeah. Like digging your claws into an enemy and ripping lines into their scales.” Snake explained. Fennin didn’t seem to notice and continued.
“We will set out first to the forest region, Silva. From there, we shall go through all the regions of Lillen, reclaiming the stones. Does that answer your inquiry?”
“Yes.” Snake curled his tail around his legs. “Perfect. When do we go?”

Honestly, descriptions don’t tend give me nightmares. It’s the VISUALS that haunt my sleep.
Any noun can become a verb if you don't care enough.

Fennin rubbed the bridge of his nose with his index finger.
“I very much dislike time contraints, and I know you all who are training will to, but if we don’t set out this week, it could be to late for my father and my land.”

Nora tapped Nahim’s shoulder as she sat next to him.
“Nahim, there’s something that bothers me.” Nahim drew his attention off Fennin, and looked into Nora’s beautiful brown eyes.
“What is it?”
“It’s about the scouting missions. When we sent Lillening’s to the Swamp region, only one returned. He said ‘death, don’t follow the lights, watched for the foul bubbles’ nothing more. I asked one other to go to that region again, and they flatly refused. I asked Fennin about it early this morning before I went into the planning room, and all he said was, ‘I do not advise you send any others. I myself had heard rumors, and the swamplands have made no contact with the rest of Lillen since almost three weeks. I don’t know what to do about it, but I don’t think any other scout will go there.’ Nahim, the whole thing is shrouded in mystery, even as I pressed Fennin, he seemed reluctant to share the rumors.”
“Did he share them?”
“Yes, at least some, he didn’t want to keep me in the dark. He said there were strange lights, unlike the soft yellow ones the Lillening’s would light. There were accounts of people never being seen again, and some of bodies found with descriptions so gruesome Fennin would not repeat them. Weird howls and cackles. Screeches of human agony. Glowing green orbs. Trees torn up by great claws. Also, a foul scent that sometimes hangs over the swamp, and a groggy mist that distorts the cheery light of the sun into this evil ray. Some other things he said he would not repeat aloud.” Nahim scrunched his eyebrows.
“That is…odd. How many of these rumors do you think are true?”
“The mist and the scent is at the very least true. That’s all I know for sure.”
Nahim turned his atteattention back to Fennin, but his eyebrows still showed that he was thinking hard on the subject.
