AHH! I’m so glad you like them! (I really like how they both turned out too) Oh my…now you’re on a rant. A Melvin horse? *chuckles* He would look sour for sure.
Yes, I’m planning to give the brothers the David Star. Well…Peter’s a gardener…right? Would that work? Rafe is Swiss, right? I could give him the Swiss flag. As for Francis and Nicklaus, I don’t really know. They’re your characters. Do you have any ideas? The symbols are usually tied to their character…or history…or something like that. Oh! Do Francis and Nicklaus have any family crests/symbols? That could work.
Yup. Konrad is going to be more spunky looking.
Okay. I’ll try to scan the next one.

July 8, 2026 at 8:06 am #212590Thank you! I’m not the best artist, but if I don’t freak out and stay calm, the drawings usually turn out satisfactory. I think God helps me too.

July 8, 2026 at 9:44 am #212591@liberty That’s a good way to look at it.
Gerald handled that. You don’t question Gerald. (if you know you know)
July 8, 2026 at 12:54 pm #212592Peter’s father is the gardener, Peter is a chauffeur and mechanic.
lol, sour and haughty, but also good looking.
Yes, Rafe is Swiss. Hmmm, Francis is an only son of the Von Donnersmarck family, so i could give you a little history dump on them……
The House of Von Donnersmarck is an old Austro-German noble family that originated in the former region of Spiš in Upper Hungary (now in Slovakia). The founder of the family was Henckel de Quintoforo in the 14th century. The original seat of the family was in Donnersmarck (Slovak: Spišský Štvrtok), which was then within the Kingdom of Hungary but is now part of Slovakia. The family was ennobled in 1607 by Rudolf II, Holy Roman Emperor. They settled in Germany and held lands and titles there. In 1417, during the time of the Council of Constance, the Holy Roman Emperor and Hungarian King, Sigismund of Luxembourg, granted a coat of arms to the three brothers Peter, Jakob and Nicholas, it had two lions and three white edelweiss flowers.
That got official, but I just love family histories. They are such fun! I finished most of Nicklaus’ family history, and I have his crest already. I’ll just send a picture and you can pull what you like from it.

July 8, 2026 at 4:19 pm #212593Oh! I forgot about Peter being a mechanic. I’ll use that.
Great! I’ll see what I can do with lions and edelweiss for Francis.
Oooh. History is just so amazing. You could just get lost in it!
Nicklaus’s crest is beautiful! I may mix a few elements…we’ll see.
