@Sam-Kowal Well on one hand you could say the smell would alert people. But it would also distract people. Who can concentrate fully while smelling pizza??

@rochellaine I love your poetry, though I agree this isn’t as good as your other ones. My best guess for why this is is that the poem doesn’t contain much imagery.
