Thanks, Kate! 😀 I got the idea because the guy on the left looked like he was wearing a mask. Though asking my siblings, apparently I was the only one who saw it. 😛
Yeah, this next one’s going to be fun! Interesting, the details… did you notice that the guy is wearing a suit and tie? But yet that’s the hull of a wooden boat and his hands are…[Read more] -

Are you saying this exercise isn’t working for you? If so, don’t worry about it. Different systems work for different people.
No, I’m not saying that doesn’t work for me. I’m saying it worked for me and that’s why I’m offering it.
Though, different systems work for different people, I agree. So take a pick. Ezra has presented another option. 😛 -

Yes! XD I love that one. And “Thundering Typhoons”.
Though I believe it was “billions”… 😛 -

If anyone reads the Tintin books or has seen the movie, Captain Haddock is my best example of this.
And what’s ridiculous is that he’s so totally messed up, while Tintin is the flawless boy scout. And they’re best friends. XD
And, on a side note, I really love his creative curse-words. He’s expanded my vocabulary in a good…[Read more] -

Thanks, I see what you mean there. 🙂
But, I don’t see a problem with scootch. Does the rhyming not fit? Or are you just against its validity of being a word? -

You’re having a crisis over your existence, to break it down simply.

@daeus: I had that moment too. It’s actually about a color blind person in a dystopian world divided by colors. I wouldn’t do a Google for that, though. It probably wouldn’t come up. Though if you look up his name, you should find a website.
Whoa, Ezra… I’m bummed it happened too. It is a decision I do not fully understand.
But that was not…[Read more] -

Actually, the lack of words there makes Ezra’s point. 😛 Leave them wanting a vital piece of the story that you didn’t give them. Something should be missing/in question at pretty much any given part of the story.

Thanks, @kate-flournoy! 🙂 Yeah, both those lines were not sitting quite well. I’ll make those changes.
Do you think there’s a better word with the same syllables I can use instead of “harmless”? -

Tell me what you guys think. 🙂
Don’t touch the ground, whatever you do
You’ll be burned by what’s there and you’ll die
And I’d keep to the couches if I were you
Or the end of your short life is nighThe ground is now lava
The flooring is molten
The carpet is broiling hot.Tie together a pillow raft

There were two that I made when I was around 7 or 8. One was, I quote: “THE GiNENT: A TALE ov FAiTH”.
It was about 2 guys who were walking along and see a giant (the titular “Ginent”). The guy who doesn’t believe in God runs away and the giant stomps on him. The guy who does believe in God stops in his tracks, kneels down and prays.
After the…[Read more] -

Ooh… I didn’t notice the suit and tie. I noticed the wooden boat and the ropes, though…
I’m going to have fun with this one.
I mean I always do, but some more than others. 😀
