Okay…. well I’ve been formatting for the last 6 hours straight and my brain is dead and my head hurts, so you’ll have to remind me to tell you another day. Will that work?

It’s sort of mirroring a Soviet era takeover.

Oh sorry. You said you couldn’t see america banning family, and I’m saying they just declared that children belong to the government, not families. They are already laying the blueprints for doing it. Just not as dramatic as my book.

actually, there is a bill that got passed by america allowing homosexual couples to have children and in the bill they said that the reason they are allowed to have children is because children belong to the government, not to families. Now, nothing has built off of that bill, but it’s a perfect springboard.

There’s an old quote that I love that was said by a man once. He said, “Give me a wife to fight for and children to protect, and I’ll conquer the world with my bare hands.”
This is also an America after the devastation of WWIII plus a Civil War to boot, which completely wiped out half the country and just about destroyed the half…[Read more]

Mel
“Um… Okay then.” Mel scooped up the snail and slowly climbed down, staring at the creature in her hand the whole time. She came to stand next to Lucy, and looked up at her blankly. “So who’s they?”

They don’t marriage. People can live together, but no covenant or commitment. It started out as a war against the church, but then they realized that it is easier to control the people. Without a family to fight and provide for, men loose their purpose. (It was actually a strategy developed by communist Russia though it was never…[Read more]

Lol. He starts off sounding reliable. But he happens to believe a similar lie to the MC, so partway into the story you get to suddenly realize something doesn’t add up.
Or at least, that’s the plan. Who knows. I might make him the only person who knows the truth, but make that truth kinda hard to believe. We’ll see.
The prophesy…[Read more]

Ma’am. Please introduce your story in more detail. I am currently working on a whimsy story of fairies, cozy homes, and evil people-eating rabbits. We have a few things in common and I would love to hear about your project.
Hmm, I do see similarities. Okay, here’s the blurb:
Cookie looking siblings, a begrudgingly helpful fairy, a…[Read more]

XD I’ve never understood that either. Everyone is writing dark stuff and it gets tiresome and depressing. Sometimes I just want a lighthearted book where no one dies, but those are hard to find.

I just don’t like how they’re treated as more important/impactful than other stories.
Exactly

I remember watching it when I was younger and being creeped out. It’s such a fun film.
Why do these two sentences make sense together? Like, why?

Yeah the plot was very lacking. It would be cool to see the characters developed more.

Well, I was going to wait until I had @Power‘s Cactushead done, but as that will take a bit since I’m also starting some commissioned work, (Or trying to…) I’ll go ahead and post something else for the Circle.
Behold, a cat I doodled last Saturday:

SPEAKING of TITLES.
Does anyone have a list of all our titles/remember your title? I agree that we all need them. These dark times call for organization. We can put them on our profiles. I also vote that they be as archaic as possible. I will gladly translate anything to…[Read more]
