Rory
The sound of screeching tires flashed through his mind. Hand pushing him. Pain. Blood. Yelling.
But she had saved him.
Saved his life.
Yeah, saved me so the Agents could finish the job after interrogating me.
Rory bit his lower lip until he tasted blood. At last he let out a slow breath and looked up at Leo. “…[Read more]

I didn’t meet them up, but I also wanted to give Rory a moment to process. He’s like to need it, poor kid.

Leo
He scanned the street around them and gave a grim smile at the silence. Rory’s voice sounded beside him. “Which direction? Where are your siblings?”
Leo smiled. “Left, and they’re at home.”
He led them around the corner of the church.
“Rory, the lady from the bus is on the back porch.” He felt Rory sti…[Read more]

Uncounted times in my life I have entered the children’s section of our library, see The Tale of Despereaux sitting in it’s place, displaying that adorable cover. I wanted to read it for that cover, but somehow I never have.
I think we saw the movie (or something like it enough that my brain is confused) at my aunt’s house. It w…[Read more]

Oh, dear, I still have 600 words to write.
I just realized I can’t actually flip my hair because I have a bob cut. 😐
Sad. *flips hair* XD

One question I forgot in my feedback file under Worldbuilding:
Any topics you recommend I research to improve worldbuilding and make it more realistic?
Also, I somehow completely forgot to add Stripe to my list of characters I’m most eager for feedback on.

I love how you took the screenshot and turned it into your own style!
Thank you again. I would like to do this with the illustrations in the Narnia books someday.
you are definitely the best artist for the job.
Thank you again! My drawing skills are a gift from God, and while I have had to practice lot to get to…[Read more]

WOW!!! I think that’s the best thing you have ever drawn that you’ve posted on here! WOW!!!
Thank you! It really helped that I didn’t have to come up with the pose myself.
Here is the screenshot I used as a reference:

AAH it’s Zuko!! I love Zuko so much. Well done; you translated the anime-like style of the show…

I’ll leave Shadow and Loopy out of this since I haven’t heard from them on here for quite a while.
I am now ready to talk about my magic system. Why is it the way it is? Well to understand that, we need to start talking about book two. I am going to have to spoil it a bit, but you…[Read more]

“That would be… good. Thanks, Percival.” Barnes nodded towards Percival and took a seat on the ground. Percival smiled back and leaned against the wall.
“Tenz. I’m… very sorry if I hurt you. And you, Reid, as well.” Barnes said after a moment.
“Don’t worry about it.” Reid answered. Tenz didn’t say anything, his blue va…[Read more]

Yaayyy!! Yes, I have!! And I’ve read most of her books, I think. It’s been a long time, but the memories just suddenly flooded back into my mind this evening. Flora & Ulysses has got to be her strangest book. XD
Yesss, finally someone else has read it!! Indeed, it is a very strange book but so good. I haven’t read her other books…[Read more]

Here’s your Baron scene. I’m sorry that it’s so rough.
After they had eaten, Andy took him outside, showing him about the barn, instructing him on basic duties, and telling him about the animals.
As Andy was talking about the cows, a brown horse with a white blaze trotted over to the paddock fence and whinnied. Andy…

@whalekeeper oh that’s too funny! lol
My friend said she put me in a book once. I think I was some kind of elf character–I wanna say my character equivalent’s name was Cassiopeia. She had a really tall brother, whose name was Corvus.
Sadly I haven’t gotten to talk to this friend lately and I think she put that story off to the side anyway.
