Bro, the art is super good. You’re dedicated and it clearly shows; well done.
Thank you!
Ooh, nice! His cowl is cool!
Thanks! After I drew the first two full-body references, I looked at him and thought ‘he really needs something around his neck’. His cowl is the only part of his clothing that I’m settled on.

*nods, all Yoda-like* My emotional side is well aware of its value.
My logical side still treats it like a baby.
*whispers* I’m working on it

I think I might be able to rephrase what the others are saying. To us, it’s strange to pray to Mary because it is never mentioned in the Bible. It always says we should pray to God, it never says to pray to anyone else.
EVERYONE, LOOK.
CIVILITY.
RIGHT HERE.

Story #7
Jenna
Jenna Handel pulled her fur-lined cloak closer about her as a cold wind blew. The country of Rand was well-known for its chilling winters, along with her sister country, Albandra.“Are you alright, Miss?” Ken, her body guard, asked.
“Yes, only slightly chilled, thank you.”…[Read more]

@whalekeeper @loopylin Benny is a fun character! Did Lois draw him?
Viktor (Library)
“Yes, kind of new. This year is my first.” He sat down in his chair again. The upholstery was still warm from where he’d curled up in it earlier. He settled back into the cozy spot.
The Hugo boy looked like he had attended the school much longer, or at least he…[Read more]

@loopylin Ack! I did see it, but Sir Gawain was having my Brot Lit homework in my face, and Robert Burns almost burnt the sticky toffee pudding. I have returned now though, since I have some Quiz stuff to put off doing for another hour.
@whalekeeper Mm hmm. 👀 This does actually happen in the story, but she can’t hit him then because he’s feverish…[Read more]

Oh boy, a whole discussion about dragon riding warrior girls.
Nope, I have no plans to turn Martha into a warrior girl. My whole goal with her is to create a female character who is neither a Damsel in Destress nor a Mary Sue. So don’t worry about that.
If Martha rides a dragon, it will be out of…[Read more]

Just drew the villain of my series for the first time. I probably should have experimented around some more, but I kind of like the look and feel of him here. His name is Iskyagus.

First off, those two memes are painfully hilarious. XD Thank you for blessing this place with them. XD
Now.
That’s some cool concept imagery. 😎
Yay! My quirky mental imagery has been deeply complemented. XD
I want them to be like the Silent Warriors in Aerethtrae, but more mystical. If that makes sense. XD Like Tolkien’s Valar or d…[Read more]

I’m not particularly against the “warrior female” trope, but I am against completely messing up a character’s personality for what’s basically no reason.
Making Martha into an Astrid-like fierce girl would make no sense narratively, nor would it fit with Linus’s role for her in the series. Like Ellette said, I…[Read more]

*takes a deep breath* @trailblazer @whalekeeper @freed_and_redeemed @power
I don’t really have much time to type out a summary of my beliefs regarding the gifts of the Holy Spirit. However, I did find a good article on the Gift of Tongues:

It’s kind of longish. I’ll probably pop back here…[Read more]

Interesting discussion! I also believe the spiritual gifts are still active today. I grew up learning that they are still in operation, but there were certain ones that I had more skepticism about for a while, until I started learning more about them and gained more discernment.
