@ellette-giselle @linus-smallprint
I would pay decent money for a good set of Narnia graphic novels! It would be a little hard to do them all though.

@savannah_grace2009 what do you hate about it specifically?
maybe take a break from that story and come back to it later.
If you hate your writing because you’re comparing it to someone else’s….well, just don’t. It doesn’t matter how good someone else’s story is–if it’s making you feel negative about your own writing because you think that…[Read more]

@linus-smallprint well you don’t have to change any of yours if that’s what you mean!! I like them and they’re pretty original as they are.

@koshka ohhhh haha, easy mistake lol
yeah the baton one makes the most sense even without context so it’s my favorite too.
My dog is allergic to like everything lol…..He eats venison kibble cause he can’t have chicken, beef, or fish (and I don’t think he can even have pork either).

@linus-smallprint Cool, and thank you for the tips! I did the same when naming my creatures:
- “Drachenheul” is somewhat-butchered German for “dragon howl” cause those creatures are part-wolf and part-dragon (besides their human part). The reason I chose German was because that’s the nationality of the character who inspired the species, plus…

I’ve forgotten a lot of the context lol

“This is a catfish. I don’t know who named it that—it sure doesn’t look like a cat, or we wouldn’t be eating it.” –Alanbreeze…[Read more]

@linus-smallprint ohhh, ok, still awesome though.
also vandegrit isn’t a bad name for a creature, even if you do end up changing it. How do you come up with these names?

@ellette-giselle wowww awesome! I do agree they kinda look better than in the movies, if only cause there’s more contrast between his dark hair and her pale. In the movies their hair color was more similar and they look more like they could be related than a couple.

Huntress and Sniper
Callum and Fairy lit a fire in the center of our gathering place.
Sniper leaned close to me and whispered, “Good thing Pyro’s not ‘ere or we’d ‘ave a problem on our hands at the sight of the fire.”
I snickered at that. “Yeah, it’s probably for…[Read more]

@loopylin yeah he was cool. His name was Beaumont. He was also half-blind. I’m not sure how he could hold a pencil with the normal cat paws he had, unless he was typing or using his claws to scratch words in the dirt or something…..

@linus-smallprint I love them!!
Please tell me you kept Stripe’s glasses (or at least have another bespectacled Kunulf in the story somewhere, if you didn’t) cause I love the look of it.
also Martha’s “vunny hug” clothing and your explanation of why it’s called that is really cool.
does that imply that a “vunny” exists? some animal, maybe?
