The only place I rant about my characters or my writing is really on here or any other writing community.

I never show my parents anything other than funny short stories. I don’t think they’d dislike it or not approve…but having parents read my cringey emotional or romantic scenes…*shudders*

I want to use was and were less. I’ve noticed this mostly in my essays. I’ll write sentences like he was, or this was, and in my last essay I eliminated a lot of those, and it sounded a lot better.

They’re called the Imprecatory Psalms. Psalms 59 and 83 for example.

Like how in the first Catechism it said it was okay to pray for the death of your enemies… what..?

Some of the Psalms are like that, so I wouldn’t say it’s never true. Most of the time it is best to pray for their repentance though.

Could you all pray for our piano competition? My brother is playing today, which is about a week earlier than he expected, and he found this out Tuesday. MY DAD GOT A JOB!!! He’s under a contract for a year, which means he’s considered self employed, and we’ll have to pay our own insurance, but he’s getting paid a lot more too. He works in computer programming by the way.

I guess a beloved pet would be one that is loved. You will see your dog again, but our friends who keep and slaughter their chickens wouldn’t see them again. I think it would extend to other loved animals too. Like I wonder if I will see the sick house finch I tried to help but failed to heal a few years ago.

Lol, same. Most of that wasn’t even intentional. I just decided that the government would be similar to ours, and things escalated from there. XD

It depends. I would say usually yes but fighting on the internet never convinces anyone, and sometimes it’s just best to be quiet. I also don’t think you should go up to someone who’s clearly of a different religion and randomly tell them off. But if it comes up in conversation or court or somewhere, absolutely.
