Of course, do you seriously expect me to listen to anything else?
Me?? Keep her up too late. *snorts*. I feel like her mother sometimes, always telling her to go to bed 😛
(please @rochellaine don’t take me too seriously! I would be very sad if you started going to bed earlier!)

Yeah, I do like the Flash soundtrack, but just the music, not the miscellaneous grunts and explosions and everything else that goes along with a superhero show.
I would have thought Little House on the Prairie was right up your alley. 😛

By royal decree, you are forgiven. Just make sure you do not chase a squirrel into Story Embers, all right?

Ah, you’re a multitasker like me 😀 (I already knew that though). Well, I just have Les Mis going to help drown out the sounds of superhero tv shows coming from my small brothers 😀

Anyone on at the moment? I’m blogging and editing (and drinking hot chocolate and listening to les Mis. What can I say? I multitask)

Its even better when kids like books, they make so happy. Children after my own heart 😀
I never used to outline, but the problem I always found was that I never finished the stories if I didn’t have an outline. Outlines help keep me on track.
Goodnight! (Goodnight Bobert. Be good!)

Maybe it’s slightly irresponsible, but I looked after him well. 😀
Oh, that sounds so cute! My youngest brother is four at the moment. 😀 he’s very cute 🙂 (I love reading Winnie the Pooh to kids!)
Yep, hopefully you will! I’m hoping to start the third book in July, but…I have very little plot at the moment and the outlining…[Read more]

Ah, fair enough. You can go to bed if you’d like to 😀
*helps Bobert pack his bag* *pats Bobert’s head* *sends him home*
My trip was good thanks 😀 My wrists are better, but I’m still being careful with them.
I’ve edited over 10k now, so I’m getting there.

Do you know what? I love you guys so so much.
I’ve just got back from my brief hiatus and I’m catching up on everything that’s happened while I’ve been away and I’m literally sitting here and thanking God that he directed me here over a year ago.
The fact is, as awesome as the meme threads and the writers corner and the advice we give each other…[Read more]

Good thing I skipped town before @alia finished reading 😛 (and yes, that is treason. I could have you.. deprived of…raspberries. ..actually royal decree. I like blackberries better than raspberries).
@rochellaine Thanks for holding the fort while I learnt how to be a good queen (I’m back by the way). And Bobert arrived safely too. *pats…[Read more]

Yeah, its normal to me, but there are selected people in the world (Hugh Jackman and Chris Hemsworth for example) who have such Aussie accents that even an Aussie can pick up on it!
I’m your time travelling queen 😉

Maybe…its hard to identify all the different ways you say something because, for me, its just normal
No, we all know what we mean when we say a Southern accent. 🙂
My buddy 😀 *high fives*

SeekJustice replied to the topic Writers' Corner #17 in the forum General Writing Discussions 7 years, 11 months ago
😛
Well, I can do the Irish accent as well and I wouldn’t say they were very similar, but maybe…
I like trying the southern accent as well, I’ve no idea whether I do it very well.
Tell your sister we can have dyslexia together. 😛 Actually, I think the British say “good gracious” rather than “goodness gracious”

I’m tempted to ask you to record it and send it to me. I’m laughing so much as it is ;P
The first thing to do when faking the completely fake Aussie accent is to drop all Gs at the end of words and to change every ER to AH.
Ah I see. Whereas we all like to fake the completely posh British accent, darling.
Gracious goodness, one…[Read more]
