It truly is sad that many books today will normalize leaving parents out of the picture or only include the ones that are abusive/the cause of charries’ trauma 🤦🏽‍♀️. @acancello Hmmm I would think that people say not to use it because perhaps if you have multiple characters with alliterated names, it would give the story a very fairytale-ish or imaginary world kind of feel and would be “unrealistic” if you know what I mean.

Oh yes, pen names are so fun! And I actually use a pen name on my insta writing account Well, that is, my handle name is elysian.abstractions but I sign my poems with the intials “e.d.a.” for Elysia Danae abstractions.
