Thanks for the tips, everyone! I definitely have a lot of work to do with it. This is all the first draft so it’s pretty rough now. With school starting I’ll have less time to work on it, so I’m trying to write as much as possible.

I haven’t read much of Tolkien, and only a few of Brandon Sanderson’s books (I don’t think I read about the Cosmere, is that Mistborn or something else?) but anyway, I really like the worldbuilding here and I’d be interested to hear more! yeah Evie and Nash just struggle with chaos, so the crowded hallways and things got to them, in their world people don’t really hang out in large crowd and basically everyone is on their own
