Hi there!
I was looking for something to share on here, and my mom said I should share some of my poems… so here is one.
This one, called Clearest Rivers, is one of my favorites that I’ve written. I’d love to know how you all interpret it!

Watch the rivers slowly flow,
While all around us grows,
The clearest rivers match our lives,
We’ll show you who we are inside.
Follow the rivers around the bend,
Take my hand and be my friend,
If our country goes insane,
The clearest rivers still remain.
Clearest rivers, take me to the waves,
Clearest rivers, a hungry heart craves,
Clearest rivers, under the sky of trees,
Clearest rivers, running with the breeze.
Yet, when the rivers reach the sea,
We do not feel as strong, as free,
Even if our country goes insane,
The clearest rivers will still remain.

“Even if our country goes insane,
The clearest rivers will still remain.”
So kind of like even if our country goes insane, the clearest rivers (people?) still remain?
If I totally did not understand it, dont worry I do not know if I am the best at this so… yeah, dont really listen to my opinion😁. Its an amazing poem that sounds amazing when you read it, the words sound great they way they are placed! 😊 Thanks for sharing and please tag me if you post any more!
