Fair enough. I wasn’t completely serious—there’s no time limit on the snowballs, so you can do them whenever.
Gotcha. I’ll keep praying that everything gets worked out.

just showing more of the city or government, to get a feel of how much the world has changed. Something like that, maybe. Maybe you could have Sara or Cole go to a different area,
Okay! I could always try to integrate that into scenes while they’re traveling (to the church meetings, to their jobs).
Ah, okay. That’s fine if your sti…

It looks a lot better! One thing I noticed is that Antonio does say “fabuloso” twice.
“Then the topic conveniently comes up in a conversation with Easton.”
Also, I feel like this might be better if you just change it to “Then I can ask Easton” or something like that. Otherwise, it looks great! I like the way you made Hallie more rea…[Read more]

Ooh, I’ve also got to add in the part about the gov trying to pass a new law that allows them to persecute Christians, but I haven’t figured out when yet.

Okay, I see what you mean. Are you thinking like, within their friend groups? Most of the story so far takes place either at school, the church meetings, or their house. Later, though, there will probably be a lot of scenes at their respective job assignments, so you’ll get to see more of the culture then. Do you have any i…[Read more]

Awesome, good to know. I think I do mention very vaguely later that they won the game, but you’re right, I don’t think any reader will make the connection.
So, that was my bad 😅 You’ve read all the chapters I’ve posted. For some reason, my brain didn’t make the connection that you had read them all because I read this:

I found a round about way to get access!! (Don’t ask)
Should I be concerned? lol 🤪
Everette (I think) asks if Sara knows who Jesus was. Now, unless you have a very different theology than I do, I believe it’s who Jesus “is” not “was”.
Good point—I’ll have to change that.
Also, unless I missed something, the last we had wit…

Great, thanks!! Yeah, I was trying to come up with something for the studying that would be interesting, but I’m not sure if I’ll change it next draft. I wanted to make something weird happen with the testing – the no answer changes being one of the first things I came up with – but I don’t know if it makes sense with the tests…[Read more]

Alrighty, I read over the next two chapters and decided to post them both today, but after this, you can expect to get only one a week… unfortunately, I only have six more chapters after this. 🙁 I guess that means I need to write more haha.
Without further ado, here’s the link! (It’s the same one as last time …[Read more]

Awesome! Thank you so much! That was something I really tried to pay attention to, because I come from a Christian family and I’ve never known a time where my parents didn’t know God… so it’s something I have to think about, how someone who’s never been exposed to this kind of thing would react to it. If you or anyone else has…[Read more]
