@raevynstar Ooh! He does sound like a great character. For someone who controls fire, he doesn’t sound like very much of a fighter, which I think is great, because when someone thinks fire, they think of a fighter. Nice and unique, that one. *thumbs up*

Yes, I am homeschooled and I love it almost too much. XD Aw, yeah. I totally get it about the story. Some of them just don’t click. I have no idea why, but I’ve seen happen before and I’ve had I happen to myself. Well, in my opinion, I wouldn’t use the Message bible because even though it is an easier version to read and uses more colloquial terms, it isn’t necessarily doctrinely ‘sound’. By some sort of blessing or curse, I can’t help noticing all the punctuation-ish things, so it wasn’t a problem. 🙂 The comma is slightly mis/overused sometimes, but I totally understand how easy it is to just go with it when you’re on a roll. @xonos-darkgrate I agree, that was really well done. Very good at drawing the reader in, too. And I love the beginning quote by the Jake of Jacks guy.
