@joy-caroline, this is so true! Where I grew up there weren’t many believers, and those that were there were from all different kinds of denominations. If our core beliefs are the same, when we can show a unity to the world that other religions don’t have the ability to do. Because we are united in Christ

This is SO TRUE and so needed in the Christian world today. People can get so stuck on labels and being prejudice against people who believe a little different. But if we all worship the same Father, Son, & Holy Spirit then why do the other things matter so much?

@joy-caroline Perhaps do some sort of prologue at the beginning of your book? Or you could drop subtle details, maybe like similar mannerisms and physical traits that your reader will catch but your characters won’t.

@abigail-m I really want to do some research on Norway. Hopefully I’ll get an idea while learning about it XD And I’ll definitely ask you if/when I ever have questions about ancient Russia. Thanks!

Also, I second @abigail-m and her suggestion of Hillsdale’s online courses. THEY ARE AMAZING. I’ve already gone through a few (the Genesis one is incredible!!) and I’ve even been able to get some high school credit for it.

@e-k-seaver Unfortunately not, but I do intend on rejoining! I was on it for about two years until around April of last year when I decided to take a break because it was becoming a bit distracting. I still talk to lots of Ydubbers though because they’re all like my best friends XD Are you on Ydubs?

I hate having to say this because I just began the daily writing quotes, but I most likely won’t be able be able to post the daily quote for about three days. (Turns out, when you go into the wilderness, you don’t get internet connection;)

Oh and btw, I completely understand about writing a first chapter that seems awful. I’m rewriting my novel and I’m basically starting from the second chapter, because every time I attempt chapter #1, it always comes out terrible.
