“… You’re welcome, I suppose.” He wasn’t trying to be particularly kind, but he had had fun hanging around with Moth that morning. A smile threatened to tug at his mouth.

Ellis laughed and lowered his bow. He had nearly forgotten who he was with.  “You don’t want to try my baking. And I have no need to fear you stealing all my left shoes while I’m sleeping or luring me away to fairy land.” His smile faded a little and he blinked a couple times at Moth. “…Do I?”
