Jumping flowers,
Singing toads,
Mountains roaring,
Scrambled thoughts.
Ticking pencils,
Writing clocks,
Marching chickens,
Rainbow drums.
Whatever.
I seriously just made that up because my brain is full of randomness at the moment (then again, it always is…). 😉

@rochellaine Oh no, I didn’t see that. I will check it out… 🙂
@catwing Hmmm…you can go again any time, as long as you give other people a chance to write (and don’t do two posts in a row). 😉
Tell your brother I am 15. 🙂 Is he a Kapeefer?

@ingridrd @dragon-snapper @daughteroftheking @catwing
I wake to the sound of rustling grass and the smell of blood. Only, I can’t see anything, not even when I open my eyes.
“Did we win?” I mumble breathlessly.
Akila wipes stray hairs away from her face. “Yeah, why?”
I grunt, struggling to sit up. “If we won, why am I bleeding?”

@Sam-Kowal NO STOP HELP YOU’RE KILLING ME.
@Rochellaine I’m quite pleased with my forceful commanding. It’s terribly INTJ of me. *forcefully commands* READ THE BOOKS. DO IT. NOW.
It is rather poetic, isn’t it? Hmm. Now that you mention it, I… might… actually… be able to use this… *hauls out a dump-truck sized binder full of character…[Read more]

Hey, guys!
So…the title basically says it all. One of my two POV characters is a boy. I am a girl. Hence, the question.
Guy writers. Tell me how your brains work, please. Or just some tips. Or examples of what NOT to do. Like, if you read a book by a girl author with a boy POV and they failed miserably, how did they do it?
Also, just for…[Read more]

@kate-flournoy I’ll go with the Victor story, if you don’t mind. The other one is getting a little bit too epic for me. 😉
@dragon-snapper Here we go….Graenw smiled maliciously, although Victor wasn’t quite sure how the creature’s face managed the expression. “I want you to destroy AAAAALLLLLL THE HUUUMMMMMAAAAANNNNSSS!” He screeched. Victor…[Read more]

@catwing AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!! NOBODY NOOOOOO! *hides in bunker with notebook*
No, honestly, I actually screamed. My mom freaked out. I had to explain, “No, I’m fine, just…remember those books me and Emmy read where we kept screaming every five seconds? Someone on KP just mentioned the freaky Nobody dude that wanted to start a…[Read more]

@Bekreations Ha, don’t I know it! I’m like that too. My older sister Kate Flournoy is the writer of the family, and I’ve hung around tons of writer stuff myself, short of actually doing it. But even without the writer stuff, I’m a book nerd, and I know. The struggle is real.
Fortunately, I happened to read a book about a year and a half or so ago…[Read more]

Victor looked at his feathers. They were shameful really. A lovely reminder of how he should have listened to his brother. Something electrocuted Victor. He glared at Greenew. Or however he was supposed to pronounce that name. “But you have to turn me back into a human! I have family. People I love. A home!”
It was only after he said that when…[Read more] -

@Bekreations Welcome to the bestistest place on the Internet, Rebekah! I forbid thee to be intimidated by anything whatsoever. You’ll fit right in, and since you seem pretty awesome yourself there’s really nothing to be intimidated by. ;P

@Sam-Kowal Well now I feel dumb. I wasted all that yelling and you’re not even guilty. 😂*chides herself about the dangers of skim-reading*
However, that is a very choke-worthy summary of a fantastic book, so the indignant glare isn’t subsiding any time soon. *glares* Innocence does not vindicate you.
(That… actually doesn’t make any sense. Oh…

Hey, guys!
Someone had this idea a while back (I feel like it was Rosey Mucklestone, but kudos to whoever it was!). Anyway, someone starts a story, then someone else writes the next part and so on. Essentially, this is a cool way to write an interesting and sometimes crazy story all together! It was super fun the last time we did it. :)…[Read more]
