@seekjustice That’s actually a joke @dekreel and I have since I don’t do fantasy. Every once in a while I’ll threaten to make her disappear, since she’s an imaginary creature. I’ve been polite, though, and haven’t yet made her actually disappear, though once I was afraid I had accidentally. 😀 (Dekreel, do you remember that?)

in my opinion, I do some really nice dancing in the kitchen, but my mother never appreciates it.
Okay, now I am REALLY laughing out loud. (And it’s very rare that I laugh aloud from any posts here, no matter how funny. Dancing in the kitchen just hits the laugh button, I guess.)
I love Russian dancing. It is so cool! It’s very…[Read more]

@seekjustice Yes, we’ve been blessed with a huge kitchen. It does get a little crowded with thirteen people, but we’re all used to working together, so we can maneuver pretty easily. We don’t often all cook at once, though. Usually it’s just two people per day.
So, I can assume that means you have either five or six kids in your family, de…[Read more]

@seekjustice Um, I’m really confused and laughing really hard. What has awesome dancing? I have three options: Your kitchen, Riki-Tiki-Tavi, and Fiddler on the Roof. Will you please enlighten me as to which you were indicating in your previous post?
@dekreel I would never make you disappear for watching a musical, however much I disliked the p…[Read more]

@seekjustice @dekreel I’m also allergic to dairy, but I don’t eat soy or coconut ice cream. I eat goat milk ice cream! It’s amazing. (I agree that soy ice cream isn’t that great.)
@dekreel Love the new installment!

@daughteroftheking The clumsy spy reminded me of two really crazy episodes of Stargate SG-1 that I saw. 😀 I really like clumsy spies. @catwing I would definitely read a story with a clumsy spy.

@dekreel And only one of the three was worth it, right? 🙂
(I detest the plots of My Fair Lady and The King and I, though I like the songs.)
*frowns* You have seriously neglected your education on that score. I would ask that you rectify that immediately before you disappear.

@seekjustice Of course the book is way better than the movie, but I didn’t read the book when I was five years old watching the movie. 😀 I especially love the tale of Riki-Tiki-Tavi!
FIDDLER ON THE ROOF?!!!!! You actually listen to a musical from the sixties? 😀 Yes! I bought the movie as a Christmas present for my sister/entire-family a co…[Read more]

@dekreel Duck!  Hit the Deck, Oklahoma!, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, Show Boat, Roberta, Kismet, Singing in the Rain…
I LOVE throwing musicals! And if you heard weird singing, it was probably me. I sing all the time, and it’s often weird – or so my sister tells me. (Disclaimer: I actually do sing in tune. Weird means something else i…[Read more]

@seekjustice And I’m the opposite. To me Tangled is an awful depiction of a girl deserting her mother for a stranger she only met that day and who has nothing going for him but a “smolder”?! Yeah, I know that’s not the real story, but I just feel like it encourages kids to rebel against their parents. And I don’t like modern music. Mulan’s sto…[Read more]

@catwing Oh, oh, okay. I’m so sorry! I forgot that you write fantasy. I just remembered Firebird at the time I wrote that post, and I don’t consider an invention of cultures or islands fantasy, just fiction. Fantasy derives from the word “fantastical” which means unrealistic, and it’s totally realistic to find an unusual and undiscovered tri…[Read more]

@seekjustice Definitely. When I tried to explain to my mom what Writers’ Corner was for she looked at me strangely and said something like “And you actually get work done like that?” 😀 😀
Okay, you asked for it… West Side Story is an updated take on Romeo and Juliet. It was a pioneer in musical style and some of the songs are quite a…[Read more]

@dragon-snapper Or are we just throwing musicals at each other? 😀
Well, sort of. I’m in the process of creating a website, but since the website is for my books, I count that I can be on Writers’ Corner with it. 🙂
Are you editing your famous book that it seems everyone is beta-reading but me?
@jenwriter17 Okay, bye! See you later!

@seekjustice That’s okay…I’m still halfway through chapter five of A Little Bush Maid which you recommended to me a really long time ago. 🙂 I’ve had the Gutenberg tag open on my computer since then, and ever once in a while I’ll switch to it and read a paragraph. It’s not that I don’t like it, because I do, it’s just that I haven’t been re…[Read more]
