Hello, thought I’d make a topic to discuss the many books of Nadine Brandes since I know there are a handful of people here who really enjoy her stuff. 😀 I’ve read Fawkes and Romanov so far and I really liked both of them.
The main reason I made this topic was so I could show you guys this song because it makes me think of Romanov every single…[Read more]

I LOVE making cultures. 🙂 My strategy is to mash up various characteristics of real-world cultures to make something unique. Although each culture has a specific aesthetic that I shoot for. For example, I might have a Medieval European aesthetic, but incorporate cultural elements/traditions from feudal Japan.
As a cold-blooded…[Read more]

I would like to write somewhere deep and dark. Like a deep and dark cave. Why? ‘Cause I feel ALIVE down here.

Butterscotch blondies? Okay, I’ll take one of those. *joins the outstretched hands* Do you happen to have any chocolate peanut butter no-bake cookies? I really could go for one of those right now. Not being ungrateful or anything. Just sayin’. No, don’t look so offended! I love your butterscotch blondies. They’re great. I just… like…[Read more]

@skredder Hey there! Just wanted to check in to see how you’re doing since it’s been two years. 🙂 Where’ve you been?
-
It’s been two years?! Whoa! Time has flown.
Well, lots of things have happened. Seriously, I’m majorly surprised how much. How’s it been with you?
-
I know, same. I’ve changed a lot, hahah. Doing okay?
-
Eh, up and down. But mostly okay I think.

Joy replied to the topic What made you start writing stories? How old were you when you started? in the forum Topic of the Week 6 years, 3 months ago
@kathleenramm I mean you have a point. XD But at least I had fun.
Maybe I would if I even had novels. But I don’t. Art is my main thing right now. *shrug* Most of the writing I do nowadays is blogging, but I have done a little bit of fiction writing before and it is fun. It’s just not my go-to activity right now. 🙂

@warrenluther04Â Yep, I feel that. This whole year has been really really slow for me and my family. It can be a downer. But I’ve managed to find things to do and friends to talk to which is nice. How’s your writing going? Anything in particular you’re working on? (I guess I could go back and read the previous comments but I’m lazy hahah)
