@Daeus *dashes in with thoughts* *realizes everyone else has already voiced her thoughts* *is slightly at loss for what to do* 😜
Only two things really stood out to me…
1. As Kate said, mentioning Jerrold in that fashion makes him sound more important to the plot than actually was. I mean, he was a TON important to Trev’s character arc and the…[Read more] -

*scowls at technology in general* Sorry guys… if any of you have followed the link and been horribly confused, I tried to fix something backstage because one of my pages was acting up and I think I just made it worse. I’ll try to get it back up and organized as soon as possible.

@rolena-hatfield wellll… *glances around cautiously*
Okay, yes. Apparently my secret is out. I do have a blog. I’ve had it for a while; I just haven’t been able to be active on it yet. I went ahead and set it up for graphic design purposes, but I’m waiting to finish up the very lastest of my last extracurricular school projects before I start…[Read more] -

@xonos-darkgrate as someone who has read and reread this story, I can assure you it’s anything but simple. In many ways it’s a lot like most classical literature— the premise it’s built on is very basic, almost simple, and yet when you read the story it’s nothing you ever would have guessed.

@Daeus *sniffs* You forgot to tag me.
But looks like I’m first to the party anyway, so here goes. XDFirst off, I really like it. The only suggestions I have are a few tweaks to the wording.
The first line, I think, would be better as simply ‘Trevor is in a mess. After traveling back in time, he and his sister are now…’ etc. It leaves out…[Read more]

Hey @emily!
I just wanted say a quick hi and how are ya. XD I feel like I’ve been a bit awol these past couple weeks and I haven’t really gotten to chat with you for a while. 🙂 So…how’s things? How is your lighthouse story coming along? Or any of your writing projects for that matter? (Oops, just remembered that you said you were going to be…[Read more]-
Glad to hear you’re doing well! Eek, same here. I’m having a “minor” problem finding time to write too. School. Is. Crazy. XD Do you have any other writing projects besides the lighthouse story in the works?
-
Yes, I am homeschooled and I love it almost too much. XD Aw, yeah. I totally get it about the story. Some of them just don’t click. I have no idea why, but I’ve seen happen before and I’ve had I happen to myself. I have a couple WIPs, only three that I’m really serious about, but with school as crazy as it is right now they’ve all been kinda out…[Read more]

@xonos-darkgrate I really, really like the excerpt you posted. The voice is very strong. The one criticism I have is that the summary of his early life never really clearly transitioned into the present. He was looking back, and I never quite caught where he stopped and began living the current story.
And I’m already curious about Brandon. 😉 - Load More
