@seekjustice You and @valtmy have covered my answer to the Mark of the Beast question, which was that as long as you could buy and sell by other means, it wasn’t the Mark.  (I actually asked my brother, and that’s what he said… 😉 )  So, as you say, if it’s just used for identification, that would work fine.

Well, I looked up “The Mark of the Beast” in order to find the reference for it, and American evangelists had a lot to say about “DON’T DO THIS!!! THIS IS THE MARK OF THE BEEEAASST!!!!!” I’m not even exaggerating.

I was just reading about it in Revelation 13 (in the actual Bible, not the speculations of American evangelists 😛 ) and yes, it does say either on the right hand or the forehead and that it will either be the name of the Beast, or the number of the Beast (666).
