@freeomwriter76
If it’s okay, I just assumed the parents greeted my family 🙂
@everyone
When I mention the group of kids, it can be literally anyone, I left it vague so if anyone wants to interact with my characters, the floor’s open.

As Moon followed his expressionless bro…[Read more]

You have a point, but I’ll say again that it depends on the character. The more I see of a character, the more I’ll get to know them, and that’s why I feel like it’s important to have developed side characters. But characters without a major role in the story, definitely.
And yeah, that’s kind of what I was thinking, too. The way that…[Read more]

Lol! I know, it happens to me too. It just means you’re improving!
Great job on the chapter! I don’t think the italics worked, but it’s not a big deal. Can’t wait to read teh next one!

Here was some brainstorming I did on one of my character ideas!
Name (full, nickname, anything relevant to the story): Isabelle Merrida Cortess. She’s named after her ancestors (maybe an Isabelle who came on the original ship to colonize the planet).
Race/description: Unruly/frizzy dark reddish-brown hair, hazel brown eyes. Sort of tall for her a…[Read more] -

So, I decided to create a doc and just put all the characters I’ve created into it and do the questionnaire for each of them in there, but one thing I realized is that this questionnaire doesn’t necessarily work for non-major characters. Side characters aren’t supposed to be super fleshed out, they’re supposed to be flat, so which questio…

No, it’s not annoying at all! I honestly am super forgetful and just forget to check KP and stuff lol. So yeah, it actually helps a lot!
I’ll probably be leaving in May, because that’s when my subscription ends. I’ll still be on other stuff but I just want to put that money towards other things, if that makes sense. 😉

Another thing is I think it’s really important to give your character an identity that does not involve their hurt. Who are they, what do they want, and what is their goal? Their past and experiences can effect the answers to those questions, but hurt should never define a person.
What Min said here is exactly what I would say. You should never m…[Read more]

*Is trying to think of a character to use this on* *Doesn’t want to spoil anything in Healer/the sequel* XD
Oh btw I think I might call the sequel “Outlaw,” to fit the character sort of like “Healer” did. 😉

Nope, I think it’s just you XD I didn’t notice anything seeming weird, except I didn’t understand when Albert said, “We’ll see who gets the red ear of corn tonight!” until Dr. Hawley opened it. Anyway, I like Clara and him together so far!

Okay, I was just making sure! Hmm…. yeah, I would just tag anyone you know/people who asked about your WIP, but of course you don’t have to. It just helps them to see it.
I know that @loopylin and @kyronthearcanin write science fiction, so maybe they would be interested to read it? Sorry, I don’t know who you’ve met yet. Or maybe @whalekee…[Read more]
