Barnes
With Reid directing, Barnes swept through multiple passages and rooms, and made sure to get an idea of the layout.
It wasn’t worth saying, but she liked the decor. Rich greens and oranges lined the inner rooms, sparkling against the surface of glass trinkets. Delicate paintings, stained with dust, barely portrayed more than…[Read more]

Barnes
“Oh trust me, I am,” Barnes murmured behind the sculpted smile. She swung around and stared further down the hall. “It is usually easier to commiserate with a care than to peruse the plot, eh? How about we look for other people?”

@keilah-h He has a cord in his neck like an extra vein, and a head scar. I’ve never thought of it as interesting before, to be honest XD

Sounds like a developmental disability. I’m not too familiar the terminology, but my brother has a brain shunt, so I’ve met a lot of people disabled in that area.
Barnes
“My name is Commissioner Barnes. Nice to meet you.” The woman shook Reid’s hand, took off her cape coat and draped it over her arm. She approached a nearby…[Read more]

Barnes
“I’m Hugo, the Sharkman’s son.” He blinked heavily. “I’m not… heavy…”
The boy went slack, and his thin legs quickly collapsed. Tenz picked him up and handed him to his companion.
“Do you two gentlemen know of a locomotive which stopped nearby?” Barnes asked. When they shook their heads, she tried again. “How else did you come here?…[Read more]

Aw thx for the help Tenz
(Starting a minute before your charries walked in)
Barnes
Hugo refused her handkerchief for the third and last time. He seemed to be doing alright; Commissioner Barnes wasn’t going to risk losing her only lead besides herself. She refrained from talking about the matter any longer.
The two made a strange pair.…[Read more]

I want to add Hugo, if that’s okay :] Dude cares about people and won’t bother anyone.
Barnes
The hallway went for quite some time, eventually opening into a complex of stairwells. Barnes passed one before quickly retracing her steps.
On the bottom of the stairs lay a person. It was Hugo, the young man who belonged to a horrible criminal org…[Read more]

Okay, anyone can bump into mine. I promise she doesn’t bite that hard.
Commissioner Barnes
A thin line of light fell over Barnes’ face, and she blinked behind her mask.
She leaned forward, and fell out of two swinging wardrobe doors, tripping on her petticoat. Her knees landed on solid stone floor.
The pain didn’t bother her quite as much…[Read more]

I know you already got help from Min and I don’t have much to say 🙂 But a couple things.
I keep using the same phrases to describe my character’s struggles, thought processes, or even how they’re interpreting the themes in their own lives.
It might help to not say those phrases at all. Brainstorm all the easiest ways to say your theme in the story…[Read more]

Thx for the thoughts. The ending is already planned out and I will not reveal anything. 😁
I’m so glad you approve of his scene!!! I was worried for a minute there because I don’t know what his everyday life is like.

and the twin I really want to rp with is a young teen, but he’s rather immature.
My charrie is pretty good at monitoring immature children. I’ll try to get her in here if my mind is apt enough; I’ve been in RP burnout for quite some time lol.
