@theducktator oh that’s so cute with the ducks having to take a journey to get to the others. I love it.
@ellette-giselle I never liked dolls growing up and didn’t have any, but I did have TONS of stuffed animals and when I was 8 or 9, I often acted out elaborate stories with them at night when I was supposed to be sleeping.
Re-enacting Narnia…[Read more]

@rae I recently remembered giving @theshadow this challenge regarding my fanfic a while back ago and wanted to know if you wanted to do it too.
As of right now, the tale’s unfinished–and I don’t just mean mine. The comic series I mentioned I pulled the story from (again, I don’t suggest actually reading them, cause there’s a couple adult jok…

TBH, Whaley, Ellette and Koshka are all basically saying riffs on the same thing from what I can tell. It’s ok to have a girl fighting if she needs to (or if she thinks she needs to, which could be an important character arc), but don’t make her into what’s basically a guy with long hair and wide hips. (I mean, like the judge Deborah in…[Read more]

@theshadow
Remeber, humanity wasn’t created for ourselves. We where created to bring glory and honor to God, and eventually be his bride.
Us humans where made in the image and likeness of God (Gen 1:26-27), and “the LORD God said, “It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a helper fit for him.” (Gen 2:18). That “good” could pos…[Read more] -

Romans 14:5-6 ESV — “One person esteems one day as better than another, while another esteems all days alike. Each one should be fully convinced in his own mind. The one who observes the day, observes it in honor of the Lord. The one who eats, eats in honor of the Lord, since he gives thanks to God, while the one who abstains, abstains in honor o…[Read more]

@linus-smallprint What I meant by “breaks immersion” is that I didn’t really want to pay attention to the spells. They have no use to me. They’re deeply evil in Alan’s world and useless in mine, so what reason do I have for needing them in my memory?
Also the part about the writer changing them didn’t make sense to me. Why not just not write…[Read more]

I’m kinda in between Whaley and Ellette on this. They both have good points I agree with.
It’s your call, Linus. Your story is the one on the line.

@whalekeeper I get that and to some extent agree. It’s just the inclusion of a detailed description of the spells kinda broke immersion for me a little. It didn’t seem THAT necessary.
