@that_writer_girl_99     Everyone keeps saying how horrible Twilight is and I’m wanting to read it because of that now.  Have you read it?

@daeus   Just realized that posted before I meant for it too.  Opps.

Anyway, I was 9 or 10 (I think) when I first watched Lord of the Rings and was in Hong Kong without a library card, so it would have been really hard for me to read them first.  I wish I did though because books are always better than the movies.  Movies are the toast, books a…[Read more]

@daeus    Hi, Daeus!  Ok, so, two questions:

1.  Which Brandon Sanderson book (or series) is your favorite?

2.  How have you made over four-thousand posts/comments?!?

@that_writer_girl_99   Yep.  It makes you wonder how the series got so incredibly popular.  I mean, at the beginning of the book it lists all the languages the series is in, and one is Latin.  Whaaaa?

@that_writer_girl_99    Yeah, I can’t disagree with that.  I was reading a post here on KP that was called something like ‘Is your character cheating her way to victory?’ and in Harry Potter’s case, I think J.K Rowling was cheating the house, Harry Potter, Quidditch, and all those other little things to victory.  I think that may be why I don’t…[Read more]

@notawriter     Bella?  My full name is Ashly Bella Juliette Vye!  That’s funny.

Anyway, did you name Twila that because of the book Twilight and her mother being Bella?  Just wondering…

This looks like so much fun, but I’m as dry as a half-dug well in August heat (that means I don’t know what to give advise about)     I’ll most likely try this next time though, thanks for the tag Elizabeth!

@dekreel        Yeah… No.  I’ve heard of Dr. Who but haven’t watched it.  Let’s see… Who’re your favorite authors?

@that_writer_girl_99    I’m sorry, I think yesterday when I sent this reply to you my computer malfunctioned or something…

Gryffindor is AWESOME.  [if you haven’t read Cursed Child yet this is a spoiler sorta]  Slytherin did get Harry’s kid though so I guess there is an exception for Slytherin

plus, my best friend (two of my be…[Read more]

@notawriter      You have cats?!?!  I looooovvve cats!  What do they look like?

@dragon-snapper Thanks! Yeah, I like Norse mythology. (And Greek, and Roman, and Egyptian, and *list goes on and on*) And “elf” and “alf” could be used either way, since they both apply to the same race. Yes, the characters are important!

Thanks! I will definitely post my story (which now has a title! yay! The Trials of Ualair Fencaryn) after…[Read more]

@skredder       Yeah.  Quoting my friend: “When you plan nothing out it lets your creativity flow more” My answer: “Yep, that makes sense.  That, or you’re just so extremely excited to start writing you get halfway through the book and realize you actually need something to go off of.“

@rochellaine      No, I don’t tend to watch much from before 1970 (or 1990,) but there are a few things I want to see from then.

I haven’t actually seen any of the Star Trek things, I’ve just heard some things about it.  Plus, the one thing I reeeaaalllyy don’t like, in any movie or book, is when it takes place in space.  I find that really annoy…[Read more]

signing off. bye! 😊

@rochellaine YAY! That is true, free stories are awesome!

Okay, that would be great too!

Okay, thanks for the advice! (Info? Instructions? :D)

Okay. (Wow. I say that too much…) 🙂

Thanks!

Hey, I’m back to reading! I’m reading some David Livingstone’s last journal entries for school

@sam-kowal

@daeus I’m kinda in between. I want to be an established author, but I’m not crazy about spending most of my time spreading the news about my book (but I know there’s some marketing involved in being an author)

You know you’re a writer when your little sister starts freaking out you take to much time on the computer not playing video games.

You know you’re a writer when you write (obviously)

You know you’re a writer when you re-read books just to try and find grammar/spelling mistakes (on a dare, of course.)

You know you’re a writer when you obsess a…[Read more]
