Elfwing replied to the topic What's the harshest critique you've ever received about your writing? in the forum Topic of the Week 4 years, 7 months ago
@keilah-h Sorry if that seemed rude, it wasn’t my intent 🙂
It definitely will take lots of time but hey, it gives you something to do if nothing else XD and its fun and satisfying, almost like having an audiobook of your own!

you totally should do one that would be epic and soooo helpful!! Because idk about everyone else, but I was absolutely lost when people were talking about such things, and internet didn’t do a very good job of explaining it clearly XD

@elfwing Yayy!! Sure thing!
Right?? I haven’t really looked into it before (Even though I know I should… ::::D) But I thought the author did a great job of explaining!
(I may need to look into it and write an article on it for the article slayer contest…;)

Thank you so much for the offer!!! My parents don’t want my email out online though (not because they don’t trust y’all, but because there are trolls out there), so I won’t be able to. I hope the rest of your book goes well for you!!! God bless! <333

Aww, thx!
I know! It can be so sad to let a villain go. I know my main villain (the one who leads Aidyl further astray and prompts her to join him) is one of my favs due to his personality. He’s quirky, pessimistic, sarcastic, and generally very fun to write for. But my coauthor and I made the decision to let him go. It’s sad to wat…[Read more]

In one of them, I think I have s…[Read more]

I use the term “proofreader” because I haven’t really done the research on what the different stages are called XD Here’s a helpful article that I just found on Beta Readers though! These are the first people who go in and make suggestions, point out inconsistencies, characters acting odd, where they felt like skimming, etc. This is also what I’m…[Read more]
