@Emma-Flournoy ‘kay. 🙂

@Daeus I’ll also review it when it comes out.

@daeus Got it. (Hear that @kate-flournoy? Lemme know when the book’s launched.)

@xonos-darkgrate I really, really like the excerpt you posted. The voice is very strong. The one criticism I have is that the summary of his early life never really clearly transitioned into the present. He was looking back, and I never quite caught where he stopped and began living the current story.
And I’m already curious about Brandon. 😉

@emma-flournoy Kate will get an email when the book is launched. You can upload it then.

@xonos-darkgrate Oh sorry, yup, that’s basically what I meant. Are you male or female. 😛 So you’re the first INTJ/Architect (dominantly at least) guy on this forum as far as I know. That’s real cool.

Aha, gotcha.

@daeus Welp, I’d like to read it again eventually (probably sometime after it’s published and we have it…physical books are so much better. No computer screen headaches.), but I think I can go off of the last version I read for the review if that’s fine with you.
In which case, when and where do I do the review?

@amy-l-klob Hey! Yes! I found it in spam. Silly spam eating folder :p Your comments are up now 🙂

Also, Yes I love Sight and Sound!!! I’ve seen quite a few live shows and watched all the dvds. I did audition there a couple times too, but alas that’s not what God had in store for me. I’m so glad you’ve heard of them. They’re truly the best. Which…[Read more]

@kballen Hello and welcome!! Ah a fellow ENFP!!! 😀
There’s a lot of us on Kingdom Pen now. :p Glad you’re here!

@aratrea Thank you for stating as much. I wondered if that was what was going on here :p
*shakes head* @the-real-kapeefer I had no doubt you knew how to stir up excitement. :p

@dragon-snapper Hey, thanks for checking in. I appreciate that.
Rule #1 does not forbid discussion. It simply asks that the discussion does not hinder peace or goodwill and that what is said in the discussion is used to build up the other person and not tear down. With that in mind it’s okay to share your views 🙂 Also, it’s good to keep this…[Read more]

@salome01w4g I’m going to defer to @rolena-hatfield on that issue, since I believe she and Daeus have thought more about what sorts of discussions are allowed on the forum than I have. 🙂

One thing I will mention for both you and others’ benefit, tho, is that @the-real-kapeefer is definitely trolling you all on this (as with most things he’s…[Read more]

@cloudy, Aye! It’s not my favorite, but I did have to go with the underwater theme today. It was good practice though, even if I find it is slightly too messy for my taste. 🙂

@joy-schmidt Hey! Another thing I just thought of today… you know how you like to be satisfied, and how finishing the planning does that for you. Well, my ultimate satisfaction from writing is word count. I’ve been keeping a journal of how many words I’ve written for each of my writing sessions, and keeping track of how many words a day I write…[Read more]

“The Message is not a translation, nor can it strictly be said to be a paraphrase of the original languages of the Bible.” gotquestions.org

Before I go on a rant of my opinions of the Message bible… @rolena-hatfield Does it go against the forum rules to talk about this? Rule one, to be exact? I just want to make sure…

@jess-penrose Agreed. KJV is accurate, and although no extremely literal to the Greek, it is still as we say, accurate. I use ESV and KJV and NKJV, and although they aren’t the same, they are all correct in biblical doctrine.
@the-real-kapeefer

Oh, and also, a few differences in the wording of a section of the bible does not change the story.

@the-real-kapeefer

@the-real-kapeefer Nooo… You do know that the KJV is one of the most accurate and to-the-text-bible translations we have, right?

@kballen Because you wouldn’t dare not like chocolate. 😉

Myers Briggs is an excellent theory on personality types that divides people into 16 different archetypes and defines how their brain works and how they generally act. You can take a free test to determine your type here: https://www.16personalities.com

Hi @kballen! You’ve found the Kingdom of Pen. We’ll have to give you a cloak and a bar of chocolate.

Btw, do you happen to know your Myers Briggs type?
