@catwing THIS IS AMAZING! How can any KP stories not be?
SO… can I have a part in the next parts??? I’m an adopted sister-elf that lives in Lothlorien, but also time travels to London a lot. I wear sort of 3 Musketeer stuff, red boots, elaborate scabbard, cloak and swooping hat. *swoops swooping hat* The Secret Lady of London, at your service.

Tagging @kate-flournoy because she is now one of my best friends, and her writing wisdom goes beyond what I think she even knows herself. Seriously, read some of her blog stuff at the Inky Notebook. Amazing.

@dekreel That is such an accurate picture! I remember when I first joined, almost two years ago. I found an entry in my journal that runs something like this… “I’m finally part of the Kingdom Pen forum, after stalking it for weeks and begging for my own email. I have a bunch of new friends, like Kate and Josiah and dragons and elves… they’re…[Read more]

When should your story end? How actually finish your story and not prolong it with more ideas.
Thanks @supermonkey42 ! Hope this helps!

Daeus replied to the topic PRAYER REQUESTS #2 in the forum General Writing Discussions 8 years, 1 month ago
Hi friends,
I wanted to ask for prayer because I’m kinda going through some depression at the moment. It’s not like I ever feel this deep despair or anything, but I have this constant sinking feeling that’s just enough to distract me. And it does distract me. I’m constantly evaluating myself in every area and some of it’s good, like when I worry…[Read more]

And yeah, obviously, you don’t want to spoil your story before you publish it. You don’t want to give everything away. Just give little teasers, and of course, talk about your process of creating your novel, because that doesn’t give anything away, but increases interest.
One thing you might want to do is look at what other…[Read more]

@corissa-maiden-of-praise Aww; thanks. 🙂 I appreciate it a lot. You all are the bestisest people on the bestisest place on the internet. That Ecclesiastes passage is a very relevant passage for me during this time!

@Corissa-Maiden-of-Praise Hey Brianna, thank you for the card with the cute stickers and things you sent! That was a pleasant surprise. And the card’s SO pretty. Sheet music and flowers—lovely combo. 😉
I’m definitely looking forward to Spring as well. Especially all the growing stuff, and the just-right weather.
Thanks so much. 😀 -

@reaganramm Wow! Thanks so much! This is infinitely helpful! I was wondering about this because I read an article about someone who said never to talk about your novel before publishing it because it would make the book jaded whenever it came out, but now I think that article was probably wrong. XD 😛
Well, I knew I wanted to publish before I go…[Read more]

5 Reasons You Should Be Talking Up A Storm About Your Novel Before You Even Publish It

Reagan Ramm replied to the topic I need help with… in the forum General Writing Discussions 8 years, 1 month ago
Great question, @dragon-snapper
We’ll shoot a video on this, but I can give a quick answer here.
In short, definitely!
First of all, why is your timetable so long? Why not publish this year?
Second, I think it’s a great idea to talk about your novel. In fact, the more the better!
Did Disney keep it a secret when they were planning The Force…[Read more]

@gh24682468999 It doesn’t sound too complicated. I can’t just take this limited information and guarantee it will work, but I think it can. One question: what’s the antagonistic force in this novel?

*grins* Glad you got it! Spring is definitely a wonderful time of year. Anne of Lothlorien actually started Operation Winter Cheer, so she’s partly to “blame” as well. 😉
Then I thank you as well, Morgan. 😉
