I’m not on it anymore, but I’ve thought about joining again! Depends on if I have time, or if I have a pivotal question about writing that’ll save my entire career 😂
Not my favorite, but my family has pancakes at least once per week, so it made sense in light of the story theme. Chocolate chip pancakes are irresistible, tho!

Hey! I hope everyone is having a great summer!
I have a quick question: Can you have too many character in a novel?
So I decided to do a Carrie count because in the last year there have been a lot of uninvited but intriguing character barging in on my WIP.
I have 34 named characters!! Is that too many. Not all of them are in the same chapters…[Read more] -

@lorelei-writer No, tis fine!!
Ohh fun! Yeah, I guess mine’s a practice novel too since it’s my first one. lol Mine is set in the 60’s Civil Rights time period and it’s about an african american girl (one POV) and an american girl (other POV). But what’s unusual about mine is that Sue-Anna (the american) is one of the few nice people when it…[Read more]

YES SAME! One reason Middle Grade doesn’t appeal to me. Not enough attraction between characters. lolll Oh fun! What’s your current WIP about? Thanks! I was just googling writer/book quotes bc I was in a hurry for a signature. lol I don’t like sweet tea (cause it’s too sweet) *waits for all the southerners to come at me with…[Read more] -

Hey Lorelei! I love fantasy (read a TON of that), anything with romance, mysteries (which i haven’t read many of lately. My dad brought home an Agatha Christie book so I’m going to start that next! lol), historical fiction, realistic fiction, again, anything with romance… XD I don’t like nonfiction. Biographies, auto…[Read more]

Um, thanks? I’m sorry, what is a tag line? (Please help)
By the by, ya’ll’s poetry is beautiful. When I write poetry it’s usually like lorelei.writers’ in meter and style.

Love your poem thanks for sharing.
Thanks you. That was my first time trying out the abba. I often do the abab or do three or four lines in a row that rhyme (example aaa, bbb, ccc, so on and so forth). As for meters my usual is an octometer. But I’ve been everywhere between a pentameter to a dodecameter.
Ive written 24 poems o…[Read more]

Ok, I’m sorry I have taken so long to reply. My favorite genres to read are most likely (medieval) fantasy, or theology/doctrine. I also love a good historical fiction!
All four of my books are differing types of fantasy, between medieval and animals (if that’s a type). My other project is kid’s church curriculum.
What are yours?

@lorelei-writer It’s spelled Keilah but pronounced Kayla; it’s the Spanish spelling (my parents are Puerto Rican).

Here it is @lorelei-writer
Like I said it’s not finished it’s missing most of its punctuation and I still have a couple of lines to add at the end which I have an idea of what they’ll be but haven’t thought them up yet xD. Tell me what you truly think. I don’t have any fellow poetry writers to tell me their opinion on my writings.
So this poem…[Read more]

I write poetry about the same things! I’d say about half of them are themed around some emotion or idea and how to push through struggles and how God is always there to help and the other half are ones of how I see God’s amazing splendor and handiwork through His creation.
I love Fall too. It’s my absolute favourite season! The b…[Read more]
