I’m gonna start putting my characters locations by their names so I can keep track. No one else has to do it, I just personally like doing it.

Brea Thorne, the library 

Brea walked proudly past the shelves and tables, carrying her algebra textbook which was nearly the same size as her. Today she wore her favorite dress, her favorite red shoes, and a new red ribbon to match which tied back her dark curls. She felt more than ready to start her new school. She just needed to catch up on some homework first.

She scanned the room for a place to sit, but instead she noticed the moving shadow-like form of Benny Rabbit. Her eyes narrowed as she watched the two-dimensional cartoon race across the wall and pause next to a framed painting. It was a portrait of a stern looking woman in a purple dress.

She seemed important.

Benny grinned evilly, and, using his pointer finger, drew a curly black mustache on the woman’s face.

Brea gasped. Her pale cheeks reddened. Benny meanwhile doubled over in silent laughter at his own comedic genius.

“What are you doing?” Brea hissed at him as she began striding forward. “This is school. School is serious. You need to be— agh!” Just then, she tripped on a loose rug and tumbled onto the ground, skinning her knee in the process. Her textbook hit the ground with a thud and slid a few feet away. Immediately, frustrated tears began to well up, but she fought them back. You’re a fifth grader now, Brea. Act like it.

But it’s difficult for people to participate at the school when a lot of the attention is directed outside of it. We have to scroll for 20-something pages to remember what was happening in the school.

Also, @anyone/everyone From what I can remember, the sun in this universe has recently set, so it’s getting pretty dark now.

Hi people I’ve been stalking

@ellette-giselle Please don’t kill off Rory. I know that’s what happens in his main story, but this is supposed to be a what if. We’ve already deviated so much from the main tone of the roleplay by killing an agent and leaving school campus. You can do whatever you want, of course, but I personally found this roleplay a lot more fun when it was still a school roleplay.

Wait, I just realized Brea might be too old to be watch over like that. Oops. XD Well maybe the idea can still be used with another young character.

No, she’s like 9 or 11ish. She was an unplanned kid, so that’s why there’s a big age gap between her and Lois.Your idea totally works.

Didn’t want to make a new topic, so this seemed like the most fitting place for this.

I’m a bit stuck with my story rn and I just need some filler or something. So does anyone have ideas for things my characters could do/trouble they could get into? It could be as ridiculous or mundane as you want, I don’t care. Any idea is a good idea right now cuz my brain is blank.

Here’s the characters I have so far (excluding spoilers):

—Felicity Frost and Lois Thorne, the main characters

—Lois’ little sister, Brea

— Helen Fox, Felicity’s landlady/mom friend

The story takes place in Linmaus, a big steampunk city filled with living machines, and it’s set in the middle of winter, February-ish. Felicity is a visitor to the city but Lois grew up there.
