Thank you all for trying to help with my project! When I asked the question, I was still trying to verbalize what kind of ‘in-between genre’ this is, and I think I know what to aim for now. All the appreciation to you! *Throws confetti in your faces* *Throws glitter into your tea*

Thanks everyone!!!
You guys can use the link on my profile to read it, and then post any comments here, if that works?
What’s a reasonable deadline? There’s 19 chapters as of now, with more to come lol
It depends on how fast you can read XDXD

Okay, guys…I’m just going to start tagging everyone I can think of lol
Would anyone be interested in reading through/critiquing/giving suggestions on my WIP?
I love writing, but it’s hard to write when I’m not sure if people would even be interested in reading it or if it’s actually trash lollll
Not that I care what people think, but it…[Read more]

So what chapter are you on right now? Also how are you so brave?! I would be so scared that people would judge my writing. That’s why I stoped with the short story I was sharing on here… no one seemed to enjoy it, it felt like no one was residing it and I realized how horrible I am at writing. (That is the main reason why I…[Read more]

@linus-smallprint sheesh, seven years?!
There was one series I got into which had a seven year gap between its last two installments, but I got into it the year the last part came out so I didn’t have to wait long. I can’t imagine being one of those people who’d been into it before then and were waiting years for the conclusion.
I plan to release…

Sorry, just saw this now. I haven’t been able to read it for a bit with school picking up now. Sorry, hopefully at some point I’ll catch up.

@linus-smallprint here ya go!
Which character(s) did you find the most compelling/relatable/believable and why?
They were all pretty good.
Were there any character(s) you struggled to connect with? What could make them more engaging?
 Nope, not that I remember.
Did Alan and the other character’s motivations and actions feel be…[Read more]

Okay, I’ll look at starting in February. I have a novel I’m pushing to finish this month, so that should give me plenty of time to do that.

No, nothing yet. She said she’ll try to have it for me soon. I’ll let y’all know the minute I’ve got it!

If you’re talking about CWW, no problem, it’s an optional challenge. :] You should tell your sister, though, that nobody actually shares their stories on the community. You only count up your words and submit the number each time you write. So her project wouldn’t be shown to anyone.

I have a new project I’m excited to work on this week. Just spent an hour plotting the first half of it, but I’m still ironing out the wrinkles before drafting it. Some of that has to do with genre.
I think it’s going to have a lot of contemporary elements.…[Read more]

YAY!!!!!! I’m so excited to hear feedback!!!!!!
I’m so glad the rescue worked! I wanted a Stephen story and a Daniel story. The Daniel ending may be more cliche, but it’s just as true as the Stephen one.
Yup, Peter is back. I know his whole story and I wish I could have had more of it in, but Joseph and the others only got to…[Read more]

OS I am very happy to here these two were your favourites.
Glad that makes you feel better!
Hmm. I might have to think through this one more. Tyn is a bit of a hot-head though.
You could maybe play off the fact that kentors naturally avoid confrontation. Although Tyn wants to face conflict directly, she might still be avoidant…[Read more]

I read your to-magic-or-n0t-t0-magic document and it seems to me that there are more reasons for including it than excluding it. At this point all you’ve got to do is evaluate whether or not the reasons for excluding spell images are so strong that they cancel out all of the numerous reasons to include it.
I dunno, it’s a hard call.

One more thing I should mention. Another reason I saw this is because I took a break between when Amelia first starts feeling unwell and when she screams she has the plague
Okay then, I’ll just leave it.
Joseph getting discouraged because he is comparing himself to others is something that is quite relatable to me, so I think…
