Merry Christmas!!!
Oh I saw that coming! This is good, Linus. I do have one complaint.
This is an emotional moment, but I don’t see much emotion in Alan’s prayer.
I would suggest pausing in between fragments of prayer and describing what Alan is doing and feeling in that moment.
Exactly. This was just what I was thi…[Read more]

Hmmmm the challenge which all of us Christian writers face…writing good scenes where the characters pray.
I’m not going to pretend to be good at this.
However, I do have a couple things to point out. Firstly, I noticed that you like to write down the entire prayer in italics like the character’s thoughts. Now, this…[Read more]

Remember when you joked about Canada taking over the world?
I think Chile stole your country’s plans for world domination lol

Thanks! The story is actually my sister’s story, but I wrote it. It was a neat project to do with her! Thanks for judging…even though there wasn’t much to judge.
Yes, I know. It’s busy this time of year.
No, I’m concentrating on finishing my main WIP right now. Maybe in the new year I will p…

Come ON.
*ushers my little sister in to do her cute face*Â please don’t kill Charles?
Being a writer, I know you’ll probably kill him.I’m curious about the Australia story.
And yes. Italian food is AMAZING. My family has recipes that have been passed down for generations.

yes, it was, and then I had another Ezra and forgot about that Ezra and it became a mess.
This was a sad scene. Was Liam a Christian? It seemed like there hadn’t been a chance to even share the gospel with him.
not that I know of. Sadly that’s often the way life works. I feel like it gets redundant if all the characters get t…[Read more]

It was night, and Joseph sat in Liam’s bedroom keeping watch. Sabina sat at the bed, stroking the boy’s head. Joseph had told her about Beric’s acceptance of Christ, but not the full story. She was already worried, and he felt now was not the time…

@linus-smallprint I think letting it be up to the reader is good choice. Me, I can’t see why they’d go back to being human. The way you have your story set up, the different species are a symbol of different nationalities. And I don’t think our cultures will be completely taken away in the new heaven and earth. We’ll be part of one…[Read more]

I think he should ask the king for time to think and then try to free Charles. He definitely should NOT go back to magic, even for Charles.😭

@linus-smallprint That’s what I thought.
What about nonwizards that are still half animal?
also I like how the way you did the switch was inspired by the book of Acts!

Nooooooo! I knew Charles was doomed.😭 I don’t think Alan will go back to magic again. I find it more likely he attempts to free Charles again, but Charles still dies somehow.

Reminds me of someone else. (Sabina)
huh. I hadn’t thought of that.
My first thought was a story about her brother, David.
ah, whoops. I can fix that.
This felt too quick. He’s gone from cold and only speaking when necessary to suddenly spilling out his entire backstory. Could you show him considering doing this before h…
