Not that you want this clarified again. But yeah, what Ellette and Koshka said. He had an illness at twelve that, combined with other slightly more fantastical stuff, stole his sight. It makes for an interesting character to draw. Glad you like him!

Yup! He’s blind. Glad you noticed. He’s got a magically caused ailment based off of a real cause of blindness.

Like the wolf. I’ve seen some people dip watercolor pencils in water as they work to get the pigment to be smooth and even on the paper or something? Haven’t tried them…[Read more]

Yeah, I’ve done a little with them but tend to find pencil is my favorite. They can be cool though!

I get that. Watercolor pencils have a certain tone that you just can’t get with normal ones, brushed or not.

Oh my word! I love it!! And keep that hair style. It really goes with what we were talking about. Elves having long hair as a distinction and all. Somehow it still gives that feel, even though it’s short. I really like it and if you change it I shall be mad. lol

New pencils? That’s awesome! The color saturation is great in your drawing. Vivid, but still soft and storybookish in his fur detailing and the trees. Anyway, it looks good.
