I’m sorry I completely abandoned this topic. School got really busy right after I made it, but it’s done now.
Dragon Slippers was a fun story… But not only did the “Christian-ish” religion feel very polytheistic, but it was often irreverent. The “Tri-Unity” was mainly presented as powerless, without any guiding hand in what happ…

Also, rude. You’re not a personal acquaintance of hers. Calling her but her first name is equivalent to a stranger walking up and asking her on a date.
XD That simile…I can’t picture any guy actually doing that to Barnes.

Answering Kefa’s questions now:
Ayla
Do you have any family or friends?
Yes. I have four grandparents, two parents, one annoying brother, and some friends.
Are you described as a villain or a hero (or just a good or a bad person)?
Generally just a nut.
How would you react to these different scenarios:
Your friend was killed
Cry.
You were…

Ayla
Trapped in a labyrinth. TRAPPED IN A LABYRINTH. This was the best day of my entire life! Weird creepy vine walls, little elf guy, those oddballs in masks I’d seen…this was most assuredly a fantasy novel. Why would I want to escape? To avoid death, said a voice in my head. “Oh shut up, commonsense.” I was only fifteen, and as a rule, only…[Read more]

I may introduce another character later, but here’s Ayla: Ayla is 15 years old, 5′ 7”, with long straight dark brown hair, brown eyes, and a dark cloak, which she wears in the hope that it makes her look mysterious. She is usually carrying a notebook and a pencil, as well as whatever she’s currently reading.

I think it’s fine to keep them. The names are uncommon enough that it’s not very noticeable. I named a guy Emerald once before realizing it’s typically a girl’s name, and I kept it.

Hey guys, sorry I haven’t been on lately, I’ve been pretty busy, and it’s only going to get more. I’m going to be working at the Word of Life Island camp crew and I’m not going to be active during that time. If you guys want to take out my charries out of the rp that’s fine with me because I’m not going to be active until the middle of August. See…[Read more]

What is up with KP? I haven’t gotten any notifs.
No. You’re fine to keep it in. Instead of feeling like it something I needed to get over for the next part, this felt more like setting the stage for the climax.
Okay, that makes sense.
Do you ever get your dad to look over these sermon/speeches?
My dad actually hasn’t r…[Read more]

It was late into the evening before the meeting finally broke up. Julian’s words had shaken the little church, and they were ready and open to hear more. As Leon and Julian took turns speaking to them and en…

Okay, here’s a question for y’all.
So, I personally really like Julian’s speech/sermon, whatever it is. (I cringe when y’all say sermon because I’m a woman and I wrote it. But I guess Julian is a guy. 🤣) Anyhow, I really like some of the themes it hits, I like the flow. Basically, I perso…[Read more]

Well, first off, this is Julian we’re talking about. Leon had more understanding for them. Second, this is really their first time going through something like this. The last time was in Ardenta, and Ardentans have a certain brute stubbornness and willingness to just hang on that a lot of other cultures don’t. (That’s part of why…[Read more]
