Pictures aren’t working for some reason. When I try to post one, I just get a bunch of words.

We believe baptism is not necessary for salvation and life in heaven, though obviously you should be baptized if at all possible. Some infants, such as those miscarried before birth, will not be able to be baptized. They will still go to heaven. I will need to ask my dad for the rest of his reasons and we have a book in our church…[Read more]

We don’t have special things we do during service, other than communion that we have on occasion, sermons, worship, etc.
I went to a church at a camp recently that I think was Non-Denominational. It was fun, but I was kind of confused by the lack of structure. XD
We do instruments, we do singing, we believe in speaking in t…

☹️ Hope you feel better! I tend to stay up way too late when I’m sick too, but I’ve never stayed up all night before. I am both horrified and impressed.
we sing a mean acapella.
Lol. We were acapella for years, but now we have a flutist.

The Church of Latter Day Saints is the official name for Mormons, right?
We believe that the first principles and ordinances of the Gospel are: first, Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ; second, Repentance; third, baptism by immersion for the remission of sins; fourth, Laying on of hands for the gift of the Holy Ghost.

I don’t really know what a youth group is either XD. Our church only has about 52 people. My dad’s the only priest, but we also have a deacon. Our deacon reads a historic sermon about once a month to give my dad a break from preaching. My dad records his sermons so my siblings and I always ask how long the sermon was at the peace.…[Read more]

Pastor kids unite! XD And what’s a Youth Pastor? I’ve heard the term, but I don’t know what it means.

Extroverts are confusing as heck. How do you just walk up to someone you met ONCE and start a conversation about a hobby casually mentioned two weeks ago???

My dad knows both Hebrew and Greek! He always goes back to the source when writing a sermon.
Oh, are you a pastor’s kid too? My dad knows some Hebrew and Greek, but I don’t think he’s fluent.
So the best choice of action is to find all translations of a particular text and use other, clearer texts to fill in the context. 🙂
I use an…[Read more]

I had to google a definition of infallible for this, so hopefully I understand what you are talking about. I think that all of the stories and ideas in the Bible are true, but that there is room for error in things like spelling, and errors in translation. For example, Nebuchadnezzar…[Read more]

*accepts tissues* His poor baby.
“The Bois?” I like it. Okay, for the plot hole. Since Felix divorced Adinah on false charges of infidelity, a good reason for a divorce if it weren’t false, instead of just kicking her out, I would assume he cares about what people think of him. A wife is decently easy to get rid of without…[Read more]

I like how the female duck is called Serpentine, a long, majestic, complicated name (how’d she get it anyway?) and then the male duck is just Bob. Brilliant.
I named Bob when I was 8-ish, and it just stuck. As for Serpentine, Queen Natalie had a group of spy ducks that I named after rocks and minerals at one point. It has since been d…[Read more]

So this isn’t an all extroverts thing?
No, its not.
This guy must be a rare species of extrovert then.
