*facepalm* I just remembered I never filled out the feedback document. I’ll do that soon.
No worries. I look forward to your thoughts!
This seems like a good compromise. I intend to continue reading. Do you know when book 2 will be done?
Awesome! I intend to finish a draft of it this year. Hopefully with some time to spare before 2…[Read more]

My plan is to start on this at the beginning of Febuary

of course, I haven’t read the changes yet, but from what I think I’m understanding you saying, this seems like a really good option. I’m definitely still going to be reading. (unless I end up hitting some snags with the new way you chose to do this, and then I’ll let you know if I need to stop.)
Thank you! I’m happy you approve…[Read more]

Okay. It’s taken some time. I’ve put a lot of thought into this, but I’ve finally decided on what to do with my magic system.
I decided to change it up a bit.
We won’t know exactly how it works. One reason why I’ve decided on this is because of the narrator. He, being someone who…[Read more]

I kind of want to watch Gravity Falls, and I don’t know why because usually this type of cartoon turns me off. However, I don’t have a streaming service that has it so I’ve never gotten around to it. Also, none of my siblings are interested. Maybe one day…

Think I like Veil of Night better than Let the Be Light. I find Joseph more relatable than Aaron. I’ll go into more detail about this when I give you the feedback. I do have to go now and get ready for school.

I really can’t believe that you take the time to reread the whole book! Thank you so much!
I find it helps me to remember things and notice smaller details I have otherwise missed. Also, I’m sitting around on the train with nothing to do anyway on my way to school, so why not?

Yes.
I finished rereading your book yesterday. I will try to get feedback to you soon.

Nice Cat eye. I don’t know why, but I find drawing animal eyes very satisfying. Somehow it is easier to focus on the shading and the result often ends up being very realistic. Good job with the fur around it as well. I like your rose as well. The cross-hatching is an interesting style. Thank you for sharing!

That sounds interesting. I am helping out a few other people with their WIPs right now, so I don’t know how much time I will have to help you, but I wouldn’t mind hearing a little more about your characters.

@theshadow
Here is a chart I was given at one of our C&C events going over some of the views. I think it gets Amillennialism a little wrong. (It seems to be made by Premillennials). I know I said Post earlier, but I think my pastor is actually a Pre. You might need to open this image in a new tab to read everything on it. One thing not mentioned…[Read more] -

nope, I have two brothers and 1 sister.
Ah.
I honestly think that it’s not good to have that big of a congregation. We’re called to fellowship with the believers and uplift, encourage, and hold one another accountable. I find that hard to do when you don’t know the people in your church. *shrug* that’s just my opinion.
As someone…[Read more]

Linus Smallprint replied to the topic How do you world build? in the forum General Writing Discussions 1 month ago
I’m more into creating characters and stories than worldbuilding. Although I have done a bit. I do like fantasy races and did spend a bit of time on those. But typically for my worldbuilding, I only do it when necessary. And I will often get distracted with writing the story itself. When I do world build, I base it on what I know about…[Read more]

oh I think we have about………… 100 kids and young adults and maybe 25 parents. (our family of 6 is the smallest family in the church. the average is about nine kids,)
That’s a nice size. I think we have about 600-900 people on a Sunday. It’s hard to get to know everyone in a congregation of that size. I often say now, ‘I don’t k…[Read more]

One of our foreign pastors was killed a week or so ago, and the pastor closest to him got a death threat. There is always this real sense of “oh, somebody in our church may have actually known him,” or at least been very familiar with his work.
Oh. I’m sorry about that. That’s scary. I tend to think of missionaries being killed as a t…[Read more]

In Canada, the problem that I’m noticing is the stuff with residential schools.
Hold on, are you Canadian as well?
Yeah, I agree with you on the whole ‘Truth and Reconciliation’ thing. This world needs Christ, which is why we are to be salt and light to it.
