@theshadow
Thank you for telling me more about Eldred. How does this character try to comfort himself when he is lonely? Is there anyone he can turn to, like his brother or even a pet (maybe while he drives people away, he keeps animals around to give him some company)? Or does he just go off someplace by himself? I think these moments of…[Read more] -

I did start the first How to Train Your Dragon book, but found that it was not for me (I think I was expecting something much more like the movies). I think I got a pretty good picture of your dragons now though. If you ever want any ideas on how to develop them further or come up with another fantasy race, let me know! -

Okay. So how do dragons compare to humans, being inferior to us? Are humans still more intelligent? Are dragons more beastlike in ways other than appearance?

First, your reviews are excellent. I’m impressed with your thoroughness.
Thank you! This was a lot longer than I intended it to be. However, I did want to give something that was not 90% content concerns like my review on Tress, so it became long.
I actually wrote an essay on this topic last year. [whether or not it is okay to tell a…

@theducktator, @theshadow, @grcr, @highscribeofaetherium, @loopylin, and anyone who wants to memorise verses along with this.
Good idea! James 1:1-14 works for me!
Here is the schedule for verse memorization:

- June 10-16 (James 1:3)
- June 17-23 (James 1:4)
- June 24 – 30 (James 1:5)
- July 1 – 7 (James 1:6)

Could we know a little more about this character, please? Is there a reason why he is always serious? What is his backstory?

That will be cool to see!
So why are your dragons all servants? Did humans see them as a threat, and quickly got them under control? Is there some sort of agreement between them? Do dragons just simply like to be servants?

I’d say that could still be seen as a curse. The word curse is a bit vague anyways, and everyone carries different connotational baggage. I like the idea, but it’s entirely up to you. Perhaps the crystals use substances left by other animals, and become like those animals. It just becomes a side effect instead of something int…

I’m in. I discovered I had this printed off already from 2019, but it will be good to do it again!
Can I add to the challenge? Let’s memorize some scripture as well. My copy of the Bible reading challenge requires that James 1:1-14 be memorized (1-2 verses a week). We could pick something else, or even let everyone decide what they…[Read more]

Yes indeed! The Hypersense (named for its hyper-enhanced senses even compared to other dragons) would live in Canada. There are several breeds, but the forest-dwelling Fallenleaf and icy Blizzard varieties would be the kind you’d most likely see.
Nice! Well maybe when the image glitches are finally figured out, you can show me your artwork.

Nothing wrong with it being a tad cliche, you just need to do it right. That being said, perhaps another idea is there could be something related to how the crystals came to be in the first place. Maybe the crystals are actually different animal spirits housed in inanimate matter, which is how the portals work in the first place.…

I like the confidence, but I don’t drink coffee. If you want long, we can go long.
It’s completely understandable, I do not drink coffee either. I better go grab a mug of hot cocoa for reading your responce. ☕🍫
Could you elaborate on John 4:34? Either I’m misunderstanding it, or it’s the wrong verse.
I accidentally said the wrong…[Read more]

Yes, he can keep what he is secret, but it has a way of coming out. Sometimes, when he is surprised, he caws like a crow, and his hairstyle is a little odd, which can get the attention of someone who knows what to look for (Alan feels that his hair makes it obvious what he is and tries to hide it under a hat, unfortunately for him,…[Read more]

Lol, I knew I couldn’t get away with it that easily😂
Ha ha. Yeah, this is a bigger issue. You might want to grab some coffee or something to drink for this one, it’s going to be long.

Sorry guys; I dropped this when young adult life crept into play, and have since lost relevance and steam. I had some specific thoughts, since I wanted to clarify some things before moving forward. But I don’t even fully remember what my questions were… I may come back to this later – and reread our conversation – since I am *nods t…

Okay, thank you for the help. I think this will help me organize. What you say about my original document makes sense, it’s more for developing the character than referencing it.
I hope to finish some character sheets soon then I hope to introduce to everyone some characters in the main cast of The Narrow Path Trilogy
