not that I know of. Sadly that’s often the way life works. I feel like it gets redundant if all the characters get to become Christians before something bad happens. You know.
Yes. It’s not always God’s will to save everyone we want to be saved, and I’m kind of glad you included it because of that. Your story could become d…[Read more]

Hard to be friendly when you have sharp teeth.

No, I’m concentrating on finishing my main WIP right now. Maybe in the new year I will participate in one of these.
Also, saw your wolf drawing here. I like wolves. Nice!

Was Liam’s original name Ezra? I caught a second sentence other than the one hybrid mentioned where you called him that instead:
Sabina kept on doing it, and Ezra relaxed. Sabina pressed gentle fingers against his wrist and then looked up at Joseph. “He’s slipping,” she said softly.
This was a sad scene. Was Liam a Chris…[Read more]

What about nonwizards that are still half animal?
I haven’t put to much thought into this. But they are half-animal because of a curse so…
I’ll leave it up to the reader for now.

Nooooooo! I knew Charles was doomed.😭 I don’t think Alan will go back to magic again. I find it more likely he attempts to free Charles again, but Charles still dies somehow.
When I saw you asking for more, my thoughts were She’s onto me. But this is the way Charles’ story goes.
So what do you think Alan should do?

Other then that……I don’t know if I want to say it was good because this is so bad. Poor Alan. But it was a……. hmmm……. a well done chapter.
Thank you!
He just asked for forgiveness, not mercy. They often go hand in hand, but they are not the same. To forgive doesn’t mean you take away the punishment.
Good point.

Only Beric remained cold toward them. No, it wasn’t really coldness, Joseph decided. It was more of a hesitance and perhaps fear. He reminded Joseph of a wounded animal. He often sat in the corner and watched the children from a distance. He flashed angrily if any reference was made to his injured leg, and he only spoke when n…

I know you haven’t been following it, but I hope you don’t mind if I just use all my snowballs for my current WIP. I just found out I have to work a lot through the holidays, so I want to focus on TNPT: The Cost – Draft 2 so I can achieve my goal of completing it before the year ends.

Linus Smallprint replied to the topic Snowball Fight! in the forum General Writing Discussions 4 months ago
There, just did a chapter with 2,458 words.
I don’t feel like throwing any snowballs at the moment, so I’m going to build a fort with the 16 snowballs I earned from that.

Here we go. Are you ready?
I think you can tell what direction I’m going with this, but I want to hear your thoughts before we see what Alan does. What do you think Alan should do and why?

What do you request? Random writing on here for the island story I’ve been making up on the spot, or more TNPT?

Linus Smallprint replied to the topic The Narrow Path Trilogy Book I: The Cost in the forum Novel Critique Requests 4 months ago
Yeah, but all I could think about was the last couple of scenes while I was making it. I guess that kinda affected the way it came across.
I kind of woundered that.
Yeah, that’s better! Now I can see a picture that was blocked before. The man with his arms in the air. I think that cries redemption louder than the red text.

I think this is different. He’s not afraid of himself failing at this time, and he’s not afraid of people. He’s stressed out that his wife might get sick with an incurable plague. I feel like it’s different. *shrug* maybe not.
Ah, okay. Maks sence.
You wouldn’t have without seeing the board! lolol
Guess so.
Did I say Beric was…

Wow, thanks! Even got the purple eyes. Is that a crow on a horse in there? Did you put the hand in there for the his wizard scars?
It feels a little too dark for Alan. It needs his bright and heroic side. I don’t see much of a desire to go on or break free from the darkness. Not a big fan of the font. But this does fit the tone…[Read more]
